TOBIAS: You sat on the roof of the Dauntless building, watching the stars above you. Four talked to you as you two laid there, telling you about his past in Abnegation and what drove him to come to Dauntless. You listened to him and tried to understand him, but you felt guilty; guilty because he was openly discussing things like this with you and you never once opened up to him in such a way. You had something to tell him, but you weren't sure if you could. He seemed so focus and if you told him that you were Divergent, he wouldn't be able to concentrate on the important things. You sat up and shook your head, causing him to turn to you. You had to tell him; you knew everything about your boyfriend, the least you could do was let him know that you were dangerous.

"What's wrong?" He asked, sitting up. You sighed.

"I have something to tell you. I don't know how you're going to feel about it but I'm just going to come out and say it." He stared at you and you felt your heart skip a beat. You were actually afraid to tell him! A Dauntless born being Divergent? It's absurd and sure to shock him! Just do it.

"I'm Divergent." You stated, looking down. He sucked on his cheeks and looked straight ahead, no words escaping his lips. You shook your head in embarrassment. The silence was almost too loud to bear.

"Well say something!" You demanded, looking at him. He began to chuckle and looked at you, smiling.

"I knew it! Lauren told me you finished your fear simulation way faster than the other initiates. The way you passed it was almost unreal." He said, pulling you in for a hug. So he wasn't mad?

"So you're not mad? What if someone else finds out?" He shook his head and held you tighter, kissing the side of your head.

"I won't let them find out. I'm going to show you how to complete this initiation without being caught, you just need to follow instructions." You nodded, pulling away and smiling at him.

"Thank you so much, babe." He grabbed your hand and nodded.

"Us Divergents have to stick together." He said, almost too quietly. Your jaw dropped and you smacked his arm, giggling.

"No way!" You both just laughed and laid down, cuddling. This went better than expected!

PETER: You stared at Peter as he talked to his friends. You poked your food, gulping. You told him last night that you wanted to tell him something important, but you were now regretting it. The sooner it came to being night, the more your heart pounded, anxious to tell your boyfriend that you were Divergent. He was so Dauntless-brainwashed that it almost scared you to confess it to him. You trusted him, though. He wouldn't tell on you, right? When the time came, you pretended to be asleep, hoping that he wouldn't remember. Your hopes were diminished when he shook you harshly, causing you to open your eyes.

"What were you going to tell me?" He asked, sitting you up. You stood up and ran to the door. He gave you a questioning look and you gestured him to follow you. You wanted to make sure that no one else heard; this information could kill you! You lead him to the pit; it was empty as could be, and Peter, being the smart ass he is, decided to yell.

"WOOO! Are we practicing, babe? I haven't practiced since we started those stupid fear tests." He cracked his neck and you stood in the middle of the mat, staring at him.

"So, tell me." He demanded, smiling at you.

"Well, I had a series of questions!" You lied, smiling. He looked you up and down and squinted, folding his arms. He doubted you and you felt your lip begin to sweat.

"Okay. Then ask me." You closed your eyes and then began to ask.

"Divergents... do you think they're a threat?" He walked up to a dummy and hit it.
