All I Could Ever Ask For

This whole thing is gonna be in Phil's POV.

Phil's POV

So I have been doing some pondering and I have decided that it's time to ask Dan to marry me. I love him so much and I believe the feeling is mutual. I am at the point where I could not imagine spending a day without him. I want to spend the rest of my life with him.

Dan is so special. So he deserves a special engagement. I'm just not sure yet. How am I gonna ask? Where do I start? I'm gonna sit and think for a while. See if an idea comes. . . .

(One hour later)

I'VE GOT IT! I'm going to do it in code. Dan and Phil games code, to be exact. I'm going to tell Dan that I have come up with an idea for a five day long video project. I'll call it "The word a day giveaway" where every day, we play a game associated with words and at the end of the video, we giveaway one code word. After five days, these words will spell out a phrase but, we won't give them out in order.

People will have to unscramble the words. I will not tell Dan the full phrase, he will play along with the rest of them. And in the end, I will propose. The five words will be, Dan, will, you, marry, me. Out of order, of course. I really hope this doesn't backfire.

(The next day)

I explained everything to Dan and he really likes the idea. He is kind of annoyed that I won't tell him what the secret message is, but I guess I can live with that guilt. We are going to start filming the first video right now.

"Hello, Dan and Phil question marks! Today is going to be the start of a very cool project called, 'The Word A Day Giveaway'. The way this is going to work is, for the next five days, me and Dan are going to give away a word a day. There is a hidden message in these words and on Friday, there is going to be a big surprise ending. " I announce.

"Yeah. It's so big that apparently i'm not even allowed to know about it." Dan says. "No you are not. So let's get on with. We are going to start off with a very simple game today. Scrabble. The ultimate word game."

"So that was very interesting but now it's time for the word giveaway. DRUM ROLL PLEASE. The word of the day is.......... Will. So all of you guys can go and obsess over the word 'will' now, and we will be back tomorrow. Bye guys!" I finish.

One video down, four to go. I hope nobody has already figured it out.

(Tuesday)

Dan has been hovering over me all day asking what the whole secret message thing is. I feel like he is going to figure out what's going on because I never keep anything from him and he knows it. He must have already figured out that it must be about him, if i'm trying to keep it from him. Let's hope his brain decides to just leave it alone. Today we are doing another Dragon City.

"So the word of the day is. . . . Me. Now you can obsess over 'will' and 'me'. Bye guys!'' I say.

(Wednesday)

Dan is going to murder me if I don't tell him what's going on. But, who cares? No beans are going to be spilled no matter how much he begs me. Unless I somehow drop the jar of beans in the fridge. Never mind. Today we are doing another Sims 4 video.

"Word of the day time! And it is. . . . Dan. Not really a word but okay. Bye internet friends." I finish up.

"Phil, I feel like what you're doing should be illegal. Now I know this has something to do with me. Just tell me what it is." Dan pleads. "Nope, you are going to learn when everyone else does." I say. "Ugh, you're so annoying." He says. Haha, oops. Sorry about that.

(Thursday)

Today we are playing four pictures, one word. This will be fun. " Word of the day giveaway. We only have two words left. Today's word is. . . . You. Alright guys, Bye!"

I'm so nervous about tomorrow. What if something goes wrong? What if I mess up? Oh my god.

(FRIDAY OH MY GOD)

Well, today is the day of destiny. Please let this go smoothly. Today, the game is Mario cart 8. It's a Dan Vs Phil and this time there is no all-for-nothing. I am probably as ready as I'll ever be. I have the box with the ring in it, ready to go.

"So guys, it's Friday and you know what that means. Last word. Here we go." I say. "I'm on the edge of my seat, Phil. Like I said guys, I don't know what the message is.'' Dan says. "Okay, the very last word that will give away the secret message is. . . . . . ".

I pull the little black box out of my pocket and kneel down. "Marry. Dan, will you marry me?"

Dan gasps and starts to tear up. "Oh my god, oh my god, YES! Yes, of course!!" Dan agrees. Thank god this went down the way it did. I had thought of quite a few terrible outcomes. But forget that. I'm getting married to the love of my life and that is all I could ever ask for.
