There's No Editing That Out

A/N: So there's this edit I have seen of Phil doing a live show and Dan walking in, getting lost in conversation, kissing Phil on the cheek, then saying "Edit that out". Only of course, to realize that he just did that live, in front of thousands of people. Nice going, Dan. So that's what this is gonna be. Hope you enjoy!

Phil is in the middle of doing his weekly 7PM live show that broadcasts to thousands of fans. He starts talking about Tatinof, then slowly drifts into dogs, and then somehow moves on to cactuses. Suddenly, Dan walks in. "Uhh, Dan, I'm kinda in the middle of  live show." Phil says as he gestures to the computer. 

 "Oh sorry. Hi everyone." Dan replies, a bit awkwardly as usual. "Why don't you join us for a little while?" Phil suggests. "The chat seems to be blowing up."

"Uh, sure." Dan says. He takes a seat next to Phil. They continue to talk about various silly and exciting things. Then they drift back to talking about Tatinof and what an amazing experience it's been. "It's really amazing to actually see your fans. The number of subscribers you have is just a number on a screen, but to see real life people leaving their houses to come see us is so special. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it. Even if you didn't go, thank you for supporting us. It's really amazing to see how far we've come together." Dan says. 

Dan then leans in and kisses Phil on the cheek. A completely harmless, very sweet gesture, that is perfectly normal between a happy couple. The only thing is, Dan and Phil aren't out, and this is a live show. "Edit that out." Dan says, all sweet and romantic like. 

A horrified look slowly dawns on Phil's face. He looks like he's about to throw up and goes sickly pale. Dan grows very confused, and is clearly quite oblivious to the fact that he has completely forgotten that they are  not filming a video, and that he can't edit that out. Suddenly, it hits  him that this is in fact, a live show and that thousands of people are watching. A look of realization, and embarrassment strikes his face and he turns bright red.

"Umm, now would be a great time to have a super hero lend me one of those memory erasing devices. . ."
