"You ready to come see me?" Cody asked me. "Of course! It's only been 2 months since we've last seen each other! I actually missed you Gold Coast," I said. Cody laughed and said, "yea I missed you too Orange Park." "CODY! It's walking time!" His dad called. Cody looked at me and you could see the sadness in his eyes. He hates saying goodbye to me. "Alright It's show time. I'll Skype you later okay?" He said. "Okay! Have fun at the show! Break a leg," I said. Cody blew me a kiss then hung up. I sighed and looked at my cat and said, "are you gonna miss me when I'm gone?" She meowed and then started begging for treats. Typical for her fat butt, I mean she is 14 pounds! Cody always calls her obese but she just has a lot of fur. Ugh Cody. My boyfriend who I haven't seen in 2 months. He's been on tour and I've been at school so I haven't been able to see him. But school just got out for summer and I'm going on tour with Cody for my summer vacation. This would be the first time I'm going on tour with him. I'm actually nervous because what If the fans hate on me at the meet & greets?! I don't want Cody to have to deal with that! Oh gosh this is gonna be a long tour....

-2 days later-

I scrambled to get my luggage together. "Do you have everything?" My mom asked. "Yes I think so," I answered. We were driving to the venue in my town that Cody was performing at. The plan was that I would join him today and begin this journey. Not going to lie, I'm going to my family! As we arrived at the venue I found my passes that Cody mailed me and put them around my neck. My mom and I got out and saw the line already forming outside. "KAITLYNN!" A fan shouted. "Hey guys," I said, "how are you?" They looked like I was freakin Miley Cyrus. "can I have a picture?" This girl asked. "Of course," I answered. I took pictures with them and they were so kind. I took my phone out and tweeted: just arrived at the venue and already being greeted by the sweetest angels! #ParadiseTour

"You and Cody are so cute," one fan said. I blushed and smiled like an idiot. It was so nice hearing this stuff. "Thanks," I said, "well it was fun guys but I gotta go find Gold Coast." I showed security my pass and walked into the amphitheatre. Tommy and Ali ran up to me and hugged me almost making me fall over. "Hi mrs. Gina! And Kaitlynn! Ahh can't believe you're here!! I've missed you!" Ali yelled. Ali is Cody's younger sister and tommy is Cody's younger brother. We all talked for a moment then I got curios as to where Cody is. I mean he is the whole reason I'm here. "So where is he?" I asked. "His dressing room. Go backstage and it's the last door on the left," Tommy said. I thanked him and left my mom with them and started making my way to see Cody. I was getting nervous. Why? I wasn't even nervous the first time we met.

*flashback 8 months*

I had been waiting in line to see Cody Simpson and the wanted. I was on the phone with my friend Mary when a van pulled into the gate. Tons of girls rushed it but I had a mission. To tell Cody about Jade. I ran to the gate and pushed my way through. "Cody! Can I tell you something?" I asked. "Sure what is it?" He said. I swear the whole place went quiet and all eyes were on us. "Um I had this friend Jade and we would always talk about coming to meet you and what it would be like to see you live," I paused then continued, "well the day before you announced you were coming here, she passed away." He grabbed my hand and looked into my eyes, "I'm so sorry.. How?" He asked. Telling how she did was hard. Tears filled my eyes and I said, "she had an Asthma attack then passed out and then went into cardiac arrest then went into a coma and she was brain dead." It was quiet and Cody looked straight in my eyes, "I'm sorry but it gets better."

*end of flashback*

As I got closer to the door my nerves went away. I took a deep breath and opened the dressing room door..
