Fights flights and jail

Melanie hugged me as we sat in our cell. I couldn't stop shaking and crying. My boyfriend who I love just cheated on me. He doesn't even love me.

"You know when I imagined us being in jail I thought it would be for public indecency. Not for beating up a Kardashian sister," Melanie said. "Well I always knew I would end up in jail with you," I said. We had a moment of laughter before the officer came and said we had been bailed out.

Who would bail us out? I swear if it's Cody then I'm about to walk my broken hearted ass back up into that cell. He can kiss my ass for all I care. He's a freakin player and douche bag.

When we got to the main office I couldn't believe who was standing there. Of all people why did she come? Why did Kendall Jenner bail us out of jail?

Before I could say anything she ran up to me and hugged me. "I am super sorry for what Kylie did," Kendall said. I started to cry again and pushed her away. This isn't the best time Kendall. "Uh why did you bail us out?" Melanie asked. "Because Kylie is a bitch! I mean first she makes out with Cody in Canada and the-"

"HE DID WHAT!" I yelled cutting her off. The mother fucker fucking cheated on me on Canada?! "I shouldn't of said that," Kendall said. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her out to the car. "Drive us to the Simpson house," I said.

As we drove there I actually balled my eyes out. But silently. I really hope Cody isn't home because honestly I'm probably going to kill him.

When we pulled up I ran inside not wanting to see anyone. But of course nothing can go as preferred. Cody was in the living room. Alright mother bitch let's rumble.

I charged in there and he said, "please let me explain." I threw my hands up, "explain what?! Explain how you made out with Kylie prior to tonight?! I'd sure as hell love to hear it!" I yelled. I started smacking his chest and crying uncontrollably. "YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME! YOU LIED! YOU PROMISED! " I screamed, "I HATE YOU!"

Cody's parents ran out to us and broke us apart. "Cody you're a douche bag," Melanie said, "you broke her heart!" "What is going on?" Angie asked. "Why don't you ask mister cheater," I said through my teeth. "What is she talking about?" Brad asked.

Cody ran his hands through his hair and sat down with his face in his hands. "I cheated on Kaitlynn and didn't tell her. But it wasn't intentional! Just ask Matt," Cody said. "SO MATT KNOWS! DAMMIT GOLD COAST! YOU JUST RUINED EVERYTHING!" Melanie yelled.

"Calm down," brad said.

With so many thoughts running through me only one was clear. I need to go home. I need to get away from all of these people.

"I wanna go home," I said. Cody looked at me with hurt in his eyes but I couldn't make eye contact. Angie and brad looked surprised. I could hear Alli yell no from her bedroom. Melanie even looked at me in shock. "Are you sure?" Angie asked. I nodded. "Alright pack your stuff and I'll take you Tomorrow morning," she said. "Thank you," I said.

I turned around and ran upstairs to my room. I locked the door then sunk into my bed. I heard a faint knocking and then Cody's voice saying, "please Kaitlynn open up." I ignored him and cried harder into my pillow. I cried until I fell asleep. Lonely and heartbroken.

"You ready?" Melanie asked as we finished packing. I took one look around my room and nodded. "But I have to do something before we leave," I said. "Alright I'll meet you downstairs," Melanie said.

As she walked out I took a deep breath and walked into Cody's room. He was still asleep and looked like hell. His eyes were puffy and had bags under them that showed he just fell asleep. Next to him was his guitar and song book. Honestly I didn't want to leave this boy. I had so many good memories with him but they were all lies. Cody never loved me.

I ran my hand through his hair one last time followed by rubbing it down his face.

Oh fuck it.

I pulled the covers down and got in the bed next to him. He didn't open his eyes or talk to me. He just simply wrapped me in a hug. We both new this was our goodbye. As I cried into his chest he held me. His warm skin was soothing to me.

He stroked my hair and pulled me closer. I started to drift off to sleep when I noticed the time. 11:45 and our flight leaves at 1.

I turned in his arms and pushed him off of me. He stood next to me and grabbed my hand. Without saying anything he simply kissed me. Bringing his hand to cup my cheek. It was sweet and simple.

We hugged tightly and he kissed the top of my head. We didn't say anything but we both knew that this meant we were breaking up. I turned to walk out of the door slowly letting my hand part from his. Then I took the final steps leaving his room. Leaving the only boy who I will ever love.

"Call me when you land," Angie said hugging Melanie and I. "Alright I promise," I said. "Thank you for everything," Melanie said. "No problem Hun. Just keep in contact okay," brad said.

I hugged Alli and she cried into my shoulder. "Alli don't cry, you're too beautiful and strong to cry over this," I said wiping her tears away, "just promise me one thing." "What?" She asked. I took a deep breath and said, "Promise me you won't let him be sad over me. Promise me that you'll take care of him. But most of all promise that you won't let him lose himself in any way. Make sure he says the same goofy and dorky Cody." She cried even harder and said, "I promise!"

"now boarding flight 2762 to Jacksonville, Florida," the speaker said.

I hugged the Simpson's once more then made my way into the terminal hand in hand with my bestfriend. No my sister.

As we got into our seats Melanie turned to me, "well what did you guys say?" I smiled at the thought of our goodbye. "Nothing literally," I answered, "Short and sweet." Melanie laughed and said, "That's what you get for dating Cody Simpson."

I laughed and went to my carry on to grab my phone when I noticed a letter and a USB drive. The letter said:

Dear Kaitlynn,

Words can't explain how sorry I am. I let you down and I can never make those moments up. You are truly beautiful inside and out. You are my bestfriend (of course along with Melanie.) I hope you have a life that's as beautiful as you. Now play this song that I wrote(: love forever and always,

I put the USB drive in the computer and Listened to the song. Codys voice came through and said, "Kaitlynn um well this one is for you... It's called summertime of our lives."

As the song played I sat and had happy tears roll down my face. So many emotions going through me. I turned to Melanie and she grabbed my hand.

That's what you get for dating Cody Simpson.
