Here I am standing in front of the mirror with my third shirt I have tried on in fifteen minutes. So far I don't like green, grey, or pink today. I grab my dark blue tee shirt and shake my long blonde hair out of it once I have it over my head.
Then I stare and contemplate. Well the color looks good it, brings out the golden hint in my brown eyes, but this I grab my hair, this needs work. I grab all the humidity products I can an go to town on my hair by the time I'm finished you couldn't even tell how close I came to looking like Chewbacca. Which with my frizzy hair is saying something.
I try to do the best sexy pose I can in the mirror and just end up laughing at myself. Today is gonna be a long day I think as I hear a knock on the door. I hear Twinkie plop down off the bed and run down the hall. I follow behind wondering who it could be when everybody I know would just text before coming over.
I look out the window but all I see is trees, maybe they got the wrong house. I think as I hear another knock.
Why does that knock sound familiar. I think as Twinkie comes and rubs on my leg. I finally decide to open the door and part of me wants to slam it back immediately and run back under the covers of my bed. Yeah Sam and Dean would be so proud.
"Hey, Violet, is it, I was wondering if it doesn't trouble you, if I could use your phone, my car died down the road and this is the first house I've came across?" Mr. Blaez says standing just outside the window's view.
Dammit. Is the only thought going through my head. See this is why I shouldn't answer the door period. He is still staring at me while I'm standing there looking like an idiot talking to myself.
I try thinking of his question before I get caught up in his tight jeans and dark blue shirt, the kinda shirt that hugs his muscles just enough to where you want to see more. I bite my lip out of habit.
"Did I come at a bad time?" He asks still standing in the door way.
Say something you already look stupid.
"Umm no I was just watching tv." I lie but it's a small lie. I was actually getting ready to meet Michelle at the bowling alley, but this shouldn't take too long so technically I'll be alright by letting him come inside. "Come on in I gesture with my hand, beware of the vicious attack cat. " I chuckle as he steps foot into the room.
" I don't see this vicious looking cat you speak of?" He questions amused.
" Oh I'm sure she's around here somewhere." I say looking around the room as I grab my phone out of my pocket.
"Before I let you call though I think it's only fair I get to know your first name." I say holding the phone out.
" Colin.." he says taking the phone from my hand. I watch as he walks over to the door away from ear shot. I decide to give him some privacy and go to the kitchen to get something to drink.
I'm chugging a bottle of water when he walks through the doorway.
" I apologize for intruding, but it seems my phone call was a waste." He smiles holding back the phone to give it to me.
" You know I'm on my way out, I can give you a ride if you want." I say putting the water bottle back into the door of the fridge. I grab my phone from his hands and walk up front.
Course I might wreck and die from trying to stare at your body but at least I'd die happy right. I think to myself as I grab the keys from the table.
I hear him walking up behind me and I try to decide if I should turn around or not, so far separate, no eye contact rooms help me concentrate better.
