I can't make any sense of this. I think to myself.
That's because you're naive. The beast says sarcastically.
Yeah well I didn't ask for your input either, so leave me alone.
My head is finally silent, but my stomach isn't I realize as I hear a loud rumble. When's the last time I ate anyways?
I'm sitting down with a massive bowl of nachos and pizza, when I hear a knock at the door. Part of me feels off, but I just shake it off and answer the door.
Bad idea.
There standing in the door frame is the guy from the woods. I feel the beast inside awaken at the sight of him, the memory of us lingering in my mind.
Yeah, that's enough of that. I shake my head trying to cage it inside again.
" Don't you know it's dangerous to come to a strangers house?" I ask him shocked.
" Don't you know not to kiss men you don't know in the woods?" He taunts back an amused smirk crossing his lips.
He got you there. The beast taunts pacing in the mental cage I have up.
"How did you find me anyways?" I say annoyed. He pushes me out of the way to come inside.
"Um I don't think I said come inside." I say turning around as I watch him pick up a nacho.
That is my food. I growl.
" Well someone's territorial." He says amused.
"You didn't answer my question." I huff out aggravated.
" I followed your scent." He says like I should know what he is talking about.
" like a dog?" I say jokingly. He growls.
"I, we, are not dogs." He says angrily.
" You're right we aren't anything." I say crossing my arms.
" We are to." He says coming up to me anger still in his eyes. " You, me, we are wolves. And you belong to me."
I feel my face getting hot, as my arms shake, " I'm not a wolf, and you do not own me. Do I look like property? No." I say my voice shaking.
He walks closer to me and I growl louder.
" Oh really you're not a wolf?" Then explain this he says turning me to face the mirror in the hall. I see my eyes shaking from silver back to brown. His green eyes filling with silver as he watches me intently.
" We are the same." He says reassuringly in the mirror.
" I don't even know what you're talking about, " I shrug his arm off. " All of my family is dead and I'm the only child, so there's no way we can be the same." He pulls me around to him bringing my chin up to where he can see my eyes, his is back to the forest green I first saw, the forest I got lost into.
" You really don't know then." He says his voice becoming more calm, more understanding. I don't know what to do so I just stand there waiting.
