The memories of my past plaqued me every night without fail and I started sneaking off for some alone time in the woods. Luna was so caught up in her studies she didn't notice my abesence.

I always went to the place where I had made my promise to Luna, it was painful being here, but it was my commitment which kept me grounded here. If Luna wasn't with me I would of moved terratory by now, but I didn't want Luna to be unhappy by moving around all the time just because my past was secretly catching up with me. She had friends here, I robbed her of her parents, I didn't want to rob her of her friends too.

I lay staring up at the twinkling stars when I hear a twig snap loudly I jerk up right quickly. I gaze around slightly puzzled by the scent. It smelt of foliage but there was another scent there, one I couldn't recognise.

Curious I take off my gray hat and red waist coat, black top and jeans and shoes and begin to shape shift in to the hybrid.

The world became much more enharnced. I began sniffing around to pick up the strange scent when I realised it was moving!

I circle around a couple of times, the scent heads out East. I follow it with light foot steps feeling the joy of the unknown hunt. About half way into tracking the scent becomes fainter so I have to quicken my pace if I want to keep up with this "creature".

The scent ends at the river, however I can see nobody or nothing. I glance around anxiously. Something was wrong I could sense it. The birds were quiet, the deer was quiet. In fact the whole forest sung out silent night.

I hear a click and my eyes dart to the centre of the under bush. I squint to make out a human wearing clothing very close to the army. A human had seen me shift! As if that wasn't bad enough in his hand he held a rifle which was pointing directly at me.
