I stared at the gun with bright, glowing amber eyes. The hunter smile as he went to aim. I closed my eyes bracing myself for the end when something from behind jumped on the hunter, making him fall to the floor.

There was a brief sighting of fur before my sister rolled over to my feet. Her hair now dirty and had twigs sticking out at all ends. She looks at me expressionlessly unsure what to do next.
I indecate to her to run.

As the hunter gets to his feet cursing, the gun fires, the bullet hits a near by tree narrowly missing my head. Luna let's out a wolfish moan as we run, she is only little but could keep up with my pace easily.

We dodge in and out of bushes, foliage, water, sand and mud before we finally managed to give the human hunter the slip. We run all the way back home, once there we shape shift back into our human forms. Within seconds Luna and I get dressed, me living out a shirt and socks.

Luna was breathless, I was just damn right pissed off. I struttered back and forth around our small little living room cursing every negative word under the moon.

"Hunters are here!" Luna finally shrieked.
I didn't look up from the floor. My anger was welling up so badly I was so afriad I couldn't control it.
"Why, why are human Hunters here Blaze."
I sigh. "They are not just any human hunters Luna. They are Hybrid hunters."
"But why? How do they even know about us."

"I don't know!" I snap slamming my fist on the table in front of the TV. Luna's crystal blue eyes well up with tears. My anger softens slightly.
"I'm sorry. It's just it's been years since they have plaqued us"
Luna whiped away her tears with her sleeve. In a small voice she said. "You have been confronted by them before?"

"Yes. Before you were born and I was but a cub, we ran into these fiends. They tricked us into revealing our true selves and from then on a organisasion called The Non-human cult, has tried to hunt us. I thought they were dead, but no. They have found us and now we must leave."

As I expected Luna sobbed once more. "But I don't want to leave, I like it here. Here I have a life." I sat down on the sofa exhauling deeply.

"Fine if this place means so much to you we will stay. But we must keep a low profile. Change our look and name and most importantly you must stay here."
"What!" Luna shrieked.
"It's for your own good. You cannot be seen but even so change your apperence, go by another name and you most not go to school."

"But what about Daisy, what about my studies?" she gasped.
"FORGET THEM, YOU ARE NOT LEAVING THIS HOUSE LUNA APOCOLYPSE GOT IT!" I yelled. Suddenly the door bell rang.

I sighed as my sister cried. I composed myself slightly heading to the door. I looked through the peep hole to see Christella. I opened the door and my girlfriend was on me like a ton of bricks, her arms like magnets. She didn't seem to register my foul mood. I turned to Luna, giving her the most serisous expression I had ever given her.

"Stay here Luna. Promise me."
In a voice so small Luna promise her freedom away.
