Luna was just as stunned as I was. She paced up and down anxiously.
"Black Wings!" she screeched.
"What are Black Wings doing here?"
I leaned forward on my bed biting my nails waiting for Valicolt to reply. After a much not needed five minute pause he said.

"They have always tried to plaque us with their presence. Always wanting to be the supier beings. But that is why I have come. To summon you both. A prophcy has come to pass the Black Wings will awaken a deadly enemy weapon and from it will forge a war between Strigoi, Hybrid, Strix, Dragon, Gorgon, Pixies and Fairies until they have our land. It is said that only the strongest members of each of the clans can make an alliance strong enough to defeat the enemy hord. For you my friends, we have been chosen to repersent the hybrid clan."

Now Black Wings was the nickname for angels. Humans saw these beings as pure creatures. But they were really quite the opposite. They were shadows of past creatures from our world who had not quite died and not quite lived. They plaqued the living and fed off of their nightmares and darkest secrets.

I glanced up at Luna whom was having a hard time catching up. Her little childlike face was twistered into a mask of terror and disbelief.

"So, changing the subject for a second." I said putting up my index finger. "Why is it they call you Ice?"
Valicolt's laugh was mocking. He took out his contact lenses and took off his wig. His eyes were the colour and coldness of ice and his not quite shoulder length hair was different shades of blue and green.

He then pointed to his face and grinned, "I wear a hell of a lot of foundation. If you could see my true complexion right now, you would know exscatly why the call me Ice."

Luna shook her head. "How can you two be so calm, here we are in the middle of a brewing war and all you can think about is his nickname."

"One thing you need to learn little sis, is never show weakness, especially in a duel or battle. It will be put against you otherwise." I explained serisouly.
She bit her lip in anticipation.

I arose from my bed and walked to a trank at the fair end of the room. I indicated to Luna to come heither. When I felt her presence behind me I began to empty the interrier of the trunk on to the floor. Mainly it was filled with cloths until I got to the bottom.

I inhauled as I took out a weapon of the finest craftmanship. The shief of which it was in, was made of the greatest leather and in carved in it was a dragon spurting fire.
I heard Luna choak in a breath as I slid the weapon out.

"Now this sword." I smiled. "Is the most powerful object in this world. From it I can unleash my inner strength and spirituality. I was told that this very beauitful blade will lead me to my destiny."

I turned the sword around in my hand enjoying the weight and intense delight at holding this weapon yet again. I had been given it when I was only two years old, so I was unable to use it. But now I had a purpose to, I loved the power it presented to me.

The blade was bright silver and reflected my face of pure wicked delight. The handle had gems along one side. Two rubies and one amythst.

"H-how did you sneak that in here?" Luna gasped.
"Because I'm just that good." I winked then pointing down into the trunk. Luna gazed down to see it had a false bottom.

Valicolt had gone very still and quiet at the sight of the Sword Of Flame as it was called. He didn't even stur when I stared at him.

"So...what is my weapon?" my sister squeeked looking from me to our new compaign behind her. Just then he moved placed a finger under Luna's chin.
"Why your fenimin charm of course." he said flirtingly.

That annoyed me so bad that I got up and held the sword an inch from his chest and growled. "That's enough of that."
Valicolt held his hands up in surrender.
"Easy Blaze whoa."

I tied the shief around my waist and aggritatedly pushed my sword back into it.
"So are gunna make the portle or what?" I sneered,
Luna looked at me confused. "What portle."

Valicolt raised his eyebrow.
"She has never seen Crinantá. We left before she was born. It's our true home Luna. Where it's perfectly normal to have a tail, or a magical ability or even a thirst for blood."

Luna's eyes widened with shock.
"Anyway, we need something from this world and something from there."
"Why do we need that?"
"To make the connection." Valicolt replied before I could even open my mouth to.

I held out my hand and ask for Luna's gold ring. It came off effortless and she placed it neatly in the palm of my hand. I put it down the ground. Then asked for something from the other world.

I was about to use my sword when Valicolt handed me a small object. When I realised what it was I grimanced.
"A fingernail...really?"
"What I'm from that world and you will need your weapon."

I rolled my eyes and put the nail a couple of inches away from the ring. Within a couple of minutes a blue and purple light emitted from both objects and created a cycler gateway.

I glanced at the other two, Valicolt looking at it with desire, Luna looking at it with dread and suspicouen.
I held out my hand to Luna who clung on tightly to it.
"You ready?" I said more to my sister than the other hybrid. When they both nodded we stepped forward into another world.
