Chapter 16 - Kaitlin And Joey

   OK guys so I have been neglecting Just Another Love Story, and I feel bad for it. I just wanna say that this chapter takes place at the hospital. Joey, Maycee, And Maverick and Kaitlins parents are there too. OK, LESSAGOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Kaitlins POV:

   I awoke in a hospital room and I felt like I was dying. Why did I live? How? I looked over to see my mom crying while talking to someone that I presume to be the nurse. I could barely hear.

"She isn't expected to even wake up because of all of her internal bleeding."

I felt scared. I didn't want to die. I sat up, even though I felt like I couldn't move, I still did it.

"HONEY!!!! HOW ARE YOU ALIVE????? YOU HIT A SEMI AND YOU WHERENT EVEN EXPECTED TO WAKE UP!!!!!! MORE THEN LESSS, MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

   I started sobbing and my mom hugged me. I smiled as the nurse yelled for my doctor to come in the room. she looked over at me and started to set me up. my mom had already left the room and I was alone with the nurse. she sat down and started explaining what happened.

"Sweety, you hit a semi. Your car was smashed and you had flown into another car and you where blacked out when we got there. You have three broken ribs, Two broken bones. one in your arm and one in your knee. You where not expected to wake up because we already did all of the surgery and you only have bruises and cuts. We bandaged your broken arm and your knee, got the casts for them, and you still hadn't woken up. You where conscious and you have been here for two weeks almost. Its the 6th of January 2016. You where hopeless. But your awake so now you can make a recovery."

I began crying and then fell asleep from crying so hard.

   When I woke up I was in a new room. Joey, Maycee, Maverick, My Mom, and my Dad where there. I was alone in my head because I couldn't hear anything. I fell back asleep before anybody noticed me. I felt happy that I was alive and everybody knew.
