Chapter 22 - Getting Home

   Come one, come all!!! I am updating. I am so tired but I am ready to update. LESSAGOOO!!!!!

Maycees POV:

  I was talking to Kaitlin and Joey about how the night had started well, gone horribly wrong, and had ended up pretty ok. For now at least.

"Hey Guys, lets all sit down and relax. We have fought and been through so much in the past few weeks. We need to just let out all of our emotions now, before we never have a better chance."

Maverick smiled and patted the seat next to him after he had finished talking. I walked over and sat down next to him. He hugged me and whispered in my ear,

"Promise that no matter what happens ever again, I will not freak out. Is that the same for you?"

I shook my head yes as Faith stared coldly into Mavericks eyes. His smile faded and I knew something was wrong. I didn't want to ask because I felt like everybody was happy, and I wasn't going to be the jerk to ruin it for them. So I waited.

   A few hours passed and we had played Board games, vined, made a YouTube video, and we had just eaten like the fat pigs we where. Me and maverick where going to let Faith stay the night at our house for a while until she could get a job and afford her own. So around 1 in the morning, we decided it was about time to leave. We said our goodbyes to the intoxicated Joey, and the half asleep Kaitlin. Faith eyed Maverick again and she motioned for him to talk to her before we got in the car. I hopped in and watched her explain something, something that seemed very serious, to Maverick. He teared up and nodded his head as Faith finally got in the car and let Maverick get in as well.

Faiths POV:

   I hated seeing Maverick so scared and upset. But this had to happen. As soon as we pulled into the driveway I heard somebody screaming from the house besides Maverick and Maycees.

"That's just Ashes boyfriend. He normally throws parties and get drunk, only to leave her alone and sober with drunk guys around her that want to have sex. Must suck to have a boyfriend that keeps previous or recent sexual secrets from her when she deserves to know."

Maycee looked away when she had finished explaining what was happening. She unlocked her phone and called someone. She kept her voice clear and quiet. As we got out of the car, a girl at around the age of 19 ran into the driveway. She had shoulder length Black hair, a ton of freckles, and a Grey t-shirt with Marvel pajama pants on. She looked almost zombiefied. Maybe lack of sleep. She had with her a bag that was pretty much full to the brim with clothes and everyday essentials Was she Homeless? No, she looked too happy. Maycee walked over to her and began talking. She invited the girl inside. Once everybody was inside and cozy, Maycee explained who the girl was.

"This is Ashton. The girl. was talking about in the car. I invited her to stay the night since, ya know, the whole party thing."

The girl waved her hand and followed Maycee into a room with two beds. Both girls got tucked into bed and Maverick went into his room. I guess I am sleeping on the couch then.

   Lol, Poor Faith. I Hope everybody reading enjoyed the new character, Ashtyn, Being added to our story. :) . ok well, that's all for now everybody!!!! I will update soon. BYYYEEEE!!!!
