I screamed at Maycee to help me. She stood there, as if nothing was happening.
(K)"MAYCEE, LOOK AT ME GODAMNIT!!! BRODIE JUST SHOT HIMSELF!!!!!"
Maycee looked at me, a little blue creature in her hands. She was fine with him being there.
(Everybody but Maycee)"THE HELL IS THAT!!!!"
She smiled and pet his head a few times.
(May)"This is Soul. I think he's a- a familiar, my familiar"
We all stared as she set him down. He walked around and looked at all of us.
(Soul)"I hav-ve fa-milly"
We all awwwed in unison. He was adorable - but I needed to tell them about Brodie asap
