Seven || A Terrible Truth

Anakin's POV

Earlier when I talked to Chancellor Palpatine he told me a story about a dark lord. He was so powerful. He could save the ones he loved from dying. That's the power I need. The Chancellor said I couldn't learn this power from a Jedi. I need to find someone to teach me.

I sat on the couch. Last night I dreamed that awful night mare again but there was more to it.

After she was stabbed she held her stomach and fell to the ground and rolled down near the lava. Obi-Wan ran to her and picked her up. She jumped back to consciousness. She jumped from Obi-Wan's arms. She grabbed her lightsaber using the force. "We must finish this," she said.

It seemed as if I fell to the ground with her on top of me. She had her lightsaber ready to kill me. I could see the tears falling from her eyes.

I came back to reality and saw Prim walk in the room. "You've been daydreaming," she pleaded.

I looked up at her, "I know," I replied standing up and following her into the bedroom. She made the bed.

"What's been happening with you? You've been acting different lately," she said.

"I think I have too, isn't that good?" I asked her.

"Sometimes, but sometimes not," she told me.

"I don't know anymore, I'm not the Jedi I should be... I want more," I said.

She stepped towards me. "You expect to much of yourself. I know you've been dwelling on your nightmares," she explained hugging me.

"I know but I've found a way to save you," I told her.

"Save me?" She asked in confusion.

"From my nightmares," I explained.

"Anakin nothing is going to happen to me," she shook her head.

"You're right nothing will, I promise," I promised and hugged her.

I was speaking to the Chancellor about the power. We walked into his hallway. "I can't teach you this power," he said.

"How do you know the force," I began to question.

"My mentor taught me the ways of the force, the light and dark," he explained.

"Your a Sith Lord," I said igniting my lightsaber, we began circling each other.

"Yes, so you're going to kill me," he asked.

"I would like to," I growled.

"Or are you going to turn me into the council," he suggested.

"Yes, that's what I have to do," I am, I will end the Sith forever.

"If you turn me into the council I will no longer be able to help you," he pushed.

"I know," I said.

"I have the power to save the one you love," he said. I put my lightsaber back in my safety belt and went to the Jedi Temple looking for Master Windu.

I found him. He was with a few other Jedi. "Master Windu," I said grabbing his attention.

"Hello Anakin," he said.

"I'm afraid I've discovered a terrible truth," I said.

"Which is," he wondered.

"Chancellor Palpatine is a Sith Lord," I admitted.

"A Sith Lord?" He said.

"Yes, the one we've been looking for," I answered.

"We have to take care of this immediately, stay here," he ordered and left on a ship with other Jedi.

I went up to the top of the temple and looked out the window. What am I going to do?
