Anakin's POV
1 week later
We ran through the ship. Luke followed closely behind me. Our ship had been taken by the empire. We snuck off and now we are trying to find a way to get our ship and go.
I sensed the presence of Darth Sol and the emperor. They were close. If a fight is what they want, a fight is what they'll get. I will never turn back to the dark side. Luke will never turn either.
I saw a large group of stormtroopers coming. We each backed up against the wall, if they see us we'll fight them off, if they don't we'll carry on without killing them, yet.
They walked past us, we were unnoticed. We continued walking through the hallway. Then we reached a large door. Darth Sol and the emperor were there. "Shall we," I said about to pry the door open with the force.
"Are you crazy?! We can't go in there," Luke whisper yelled.
"The answer is yes, I am crazy and we are going in there and we will end this once and for all," I said and opened the door.
"Ah, the Skywalker's, we've been expecting you," the emperor said and Darth Sol ignited her red lightsaber. Darth Sol took off her hood revealing her face.
"Your no match for us," I growled.
"I doubt that," she said.
"Lord Sol don't kill them just yet," the emperor started, "Anakin, join me, I can finish your training and together we will end the rebel alliance."
"Never," Luke said.
I ignited my lightsaber and swung at the emperor, but Darth Sol blocked my hit, barely standing up to my strength. She battled Luke I, she blasted her Sith Lightning at us I blocked it with my lightsaber, Luke was hit and fell to the ground, you have got to be kidding me!
Sol and I clashed lightsabers, her skills have improved. Occasionally she would try and drive her lightsaber threw my chest, but I blocked all of her tricks.
I cut off the hand that held her lightsaber. She yelled in pain. I grabbed her lightsaber with the force and went after her. "Kill me, the more people you kill the more anger you have," she said when I cornered her.
I said nothing. I drove my lightsaber into her chest and saw her life fade. I threw her lightsaber across the room. "She's right, your anger builds, it gives you focus," the emperor.
"I will never fall for your tricks again," I defied.
"We'll see about that," the emperor laughed with an evil cackle.
"We must go father," Luke said grabbing my arm.
"Your life will soon be over," I shouted at the emperor and left with Luke.
We found our ship, we defeated every stormtrooper that was around and in it. We flew out of the range of the empire and made our way back to Hoth.
"I understand that you were once Darth Vader, the dark Sith Lord that could've destroyed us all, but you fake back to light, why?" Luke questioned.
"That name no longer has any meaning to me. And, if it wasn't for your mother I would've stayed in darkness," I replied.
"I can tell that name still has meaning to you, I can see it in your eyes," Luke said.
"It does when it comes to who I used to be, but now..." I paused, "it doesn't."
We arrived back on Hoth and landed our ship. We got off with Prim and Leia waiting for us. I ran over to Prim and hugged her.
"What happened out there," she asked.
"I killed Darth Sol," I said blankly.
She looked up at me, "good, she was to dangerous."
"I know, I just don't know who the emperor's new apprentice will be," I sighed.
"No one does, but we will know soon," she said.
"True," I agreed.
"I have to go patrol outside, I'll be home soon," she said.
"Okay, I'm going to go get some rest," I said. I kissed her cheek and left her. I walked through the base with the emperors words running through my head. "...your anger builds, it gives you focus."
I thought it through, he's trying to pull a mind trick in me. No, he won't get me to turn back.
