Seventeen || Meeting the Padawans

Anakin's POV

We were in the Jedi temple waiting to meet our new apprentices. Prim and I were standing shoulder-to-shoulder so you couldn't tell we were holding hands.

Obi Wan and Yoda had two people standing behind them. "This is Alex," Obi Wan said and a beautiful young girl stepped out. I looked over at Prim and saw a pang of jealousy in her eyes. I lightly squeezed her hand. "And this is Josh," Obi Wan said and a handsome teenage boy stepped out. Prim squeezed my hand.

"Anakin, meet Alex, Alex meet Anakin, Anakin you will be training Alex, Alex Anakin is your new master," Obi Wan said. "Prim meet Josh, Josh meet Primrose, Prim you'll be training Josh, Josh Primrose is your new master."

Prim and I let go of each other and walked off with our Padawans.

"Hi," Alex chirped.

"Hello," I said.

"So when do we start training," she asked.

"Um, tomorrow," I decided.

"Sounds good to me," she agreed.

"So tell me about yourself," I said.

"Well, my name is Alex. My previous master was killed by clones. There's not to much about me," she shrugged.

"Aw, c'mon there's something great about everyone," I said.

"Well, I've always wanted to be all powerful and all but that's nothing," she said.

"Well you can be all powerful in the light side of the force," I said.

"Really," she asked.

"Of course, I became that way, you can to," I told her.

"Thank you!" She cheered.

Primrose's POV

"Hi," I said.

"Hey," he said.

"So, I was thinking we could start your training tomorrow," I suggested.

"Great," he agreed.

"Good. So tell me about yourself," I said.

"Okay, well my name is Josh. I'm 19, my old master was killed. It's always been my dream to become a Jedi," he explained.

"Ah, so how long have you been training," I asked.

"Since I was 6," he answered.

"Okay, are there any specific things you want to work on," I said.

"Um, not really I've cleared my mind, and I think I've nailed most of the things I was taught," he told me.

"Oh, that's good," I said.

"Yeah," he agreed.

"Well, it was great meeting you Josh I'll see you in the morning," I told him.

"Good to meet you too," he said and left.

I exhaled. That was absolutely stressful. I got so anxious for nothing! I think once we get to know each other it won't be as awkward. At least he's pretty confident and cleared his mind, I couldn't have taught him that...

I hope Alex has cleared her mind. Dang it! I'm jealous! I shouldn't be. I'm marrying Anakin soon! Prim get your mind straight!

I need a dress! I need to figure out had to wear my hair, and what I'm gonna do. This is stressful! But it'll all pay off.

Anakin's POV

"Okay so I'll see you in the morning," I said.

"Sounds good," she said.

"Bye," I said.

"Goodbye," she chirped. I walked around the temple looking for Prim. I couldn't find her so I went out to our ship and saw her standing next to it.

I ran up to her. We hugged quickly. "Hey, how was it," she asked.

"Good, you?" I replied.

"Good," she answered.

"So when do you two start finishing training," I asked as we each got in the ship.

"Tomorrow, how 'bout you and your apprentice," she answered.

"Same as you, tomorrow," I replied.

"Ani when are we having the wedding," she asked.

"It's up to you," I smiled.

"Shouldn't it be soon? Because we'll be caught up in training for probably another few months," she suggested.

"You're right I think Alex will be ready in a few months," I agreed.

"Yeah, Josh is almost ready too, he's pretty confident," she told me.

"Sounds perfect then," I agreed.

"Alrighty then," she added.

It's still morning and this day is already amazing! We each have our first Padawans, sort of. And we are getting married even sooner than I tonight.
