Thirty-One || Backstory Time

Anakin's POV

I looked down at Prim, she was in a deep sleep. All of the Jedi Temple's had been destroyed by the Empire. Our old base was destroyed by them. My old friend Alex was destroyed by them. I just hope my family isn't destroyed by them.

The sun began to rise. Soon everyone will wake up. I lightly nudged Prim and she woke up. "You're up before me," she yawned.

"Yeah," I smiled.

"Well, it's sun up, time to get up," she sighed sitting up.

"Why is it so cold," I yawned.

"One, we're living on Hoth and two, you're shirtless," she laughed and threw my robe to me.

"You have a point," I agreed putting on my robe. She got dressed first as usual.

"I'm gonna go wake up our lazy kids, they sleep like you," she said.

"Well sorry we all don't wake up at the crack of dawn with no problem," I said.

"Hey! You're the lazy one!" she defended herself.

"Ha ha very funny," I said.

She left out room going to wake everyone up.

We all sat at the table eating waffles and toast. Everyone looked and acted exhausted. "Well we all look like we're half dead," I said.

"I couldn't sleep last night," Luke said.

"Neither could I," Leia added.

"And I stayed up with them," Han said.

"Why," Prim asked.

"I have no idea," Leia answered.

"I just couldn't fall asleep," Luke replied.

"I swear you two and your father are same person in different bodies! Could you tell me the truth here," Prim said raising her voice.

"Okay, okay I just felt strange, I couldn't put my finger on it but I just have a strange feeling," Leia gave up.

"Me too, I sensed something strange," Luke added.

"I don't know what it is either, I couldn't sleep last night either," I said.

"I feel something too, but I slept all night," Prim said.

"If only Obi Wan were here to help us," I sighed.

"You know he is no where to be found, he's either dead or hiding," Prim said.

"Yeah, I know," I shrugged.

"Who is this Obi Wan you always speak of," Luke asked.

"Obi Wan Kenobi is an old friend. He always was there for me and always helped me. If it weren't for him I wouldn't be a Jedi," Prim explained.

"He was my old master and he is or was a great Jedi indeed. He was a great friend and brother to me. He still owes me a lot for always saving his skin," I added.

"That was twenty years ago, just let it be! I've saved your life a million times and I don't blab about you owing me. If it weren't for me or Obi Wan you would probably still be known as Darth Vader," Prim said.

"Darth Vader," Han asked.

"He once joined the dark side," Leia told him.

"What," Han asked in confusion.

"Oh you heard me," she snapped.

"I heard you! But wow, that's pretty harsh," Han said.

"No really," I added, "enough about my life! Prim have you talked to Josh?"

"No, I haven't talked to him in years, he left when Obi Wan left us," she said.

"Who's Josh?" Leia asked.

"He was around enough when you guys were three," I mumbled.

"Oh shut up Anakin!" Prim started, "he was my Padawan before you were born."

"Did he become a Jedi Knight?" Luke asked.

"Of course," Prim answered.

"If you kids are gonna keep asking us questions about our lives how about we just tell you our entire backstory," I said getting annoyed.

"Okay," Leia, Luke and Han said in unison.

"Perfect," Prim said sarcastically giving me a death glare.

"Ladies first," I said.

"You know someday I'm gonna get revenge on you all," she laughed. "Um, well I was born on Coruscant, my mother died giving birth to me. I was trained way to young and they thought I was the Chosen One. They found Anakin and changed their minds. After a few years I was exiled by Chancellor Palpatine, the emperor, for being useless. I saved his life, he let me come back. I saved your father and Obi Wan's life right when I came back. That night I was almost killed by Count Dooku, I killed him. Then I stayed with your father and the rest is self explanatory."

"Wow," Luke said.

"That's pretty intense," Leia added.

"Yeah, whatever, your turn," she said looking at me.

"Okay, I won't sum my life up as good as your mother. Um, I have no father, I was born on Tatooine as a slave. I became a great pilot from pod racing and I built 3PO. When I was nine Obi Wan and his master Qui-Gon rescued me. The council didn't want to train me. Qui-Gon was killed by Darth Maul. Obi Wan trained me. I protected Senator Amidala from being assassinated. My mother was killed by sand people, I killed all of them out of anger. I became a Jedi Knight. Got captured by General Grievous. Your mother saved me. Was put on the council but wasn't made a master. I turned to the dark side. Became Darth Vader. I came back and married your mother and then here we are. That's my life," I finished.

"Jeez," Leia said.

"You two had some serious back stories," Luke said.

"Yeah well some people have easy lives some people don't," Prim shrugged. Very true though.
