Chapter 7

It was Friday when we went to the fair. It's Thursday now. Six long tormenting days since he last talked to me. No calls, no texts, and not once has he come over. Jake is still here, every night I cry myself to sleep in his arms. I can't help but wish they were Harry's. Jake has been my best friend since we were six, he went missing shortly after my little sister did. When harry blew up on me at the fair and then accused me of sleeping around I was devastated. Not only did he not give me the chance to explain he embarrassed me in front of his pack members. Jake was family nothing more, harry he is -well was- my everything. Jake didn't make me feel the way harry did. He keeps telling me to go talk to him but to be honest I can't. I know he's going to reject me and when he does I'll be even more crushed than I am now.

"Go" Jake said as he crossed his arms. I groaned and pulled my blanket over my head hoping to continue my sulking. He sighed and ripped the blanket off me.

"Now" he said before leaving me to dress. I sighed and threw on my oversized hoodie; I was already in leggings so I didn't worry about pants. I slipped on a pair of house shoes and trudged downstairs and out the door. I knocked twice but no one answered, not even Lana. He's probably been keeping her from coming over because she hasn't slept with me since the night before the fair. I felt my eyes brim with fresh tears of rejection. Just as I was turning to walk away the door creaked open. I saw Lana's big brown eyes peak out from the crack in the door. She smiled and opened the door fully before running into my arms. I scooped her up and kissed her forehead. She placed her hand on my cheek and I heard her sniffle. Concern flooded through me.

"What's wrong beautiful?" I whispered as I stepped inside her house and shut the door behind me.

"Harry" she said with such a torn expression. I put her down and raced upstairs to his room. Throwing his door open to see him sprawled out on his bed. His eyes were closed and he had headphones in his ears blasting what sounded like rock music. His room was trashed; there were clothes and what looked to be alcohol bottles strewn all over the floor. Anger ran through my veins. He was in here getting drunk and jamming out while Lana was all by herself crying. I marched up to him and ripped his headphones out of his ears.

"Dammit Lana" he said angrily but shut up when he noticed it was me.

"How dare you! She is down there all by herself worrying about you. She's four harry! And even if it was her that just did that why in the hell are you cursing at her?!" I screamed at him.

My body was hot with anger. He looked stunned, regret quickly over took his whole body and he reached out for me. I stepped back and looked at him coldly.

"Don't touch me. Go to her and apologize, do you know how utterly broken she looked!" I continued to yell at him. I felt small arms wrap around my leg and I looked down to see Lana burying her face in my legs. As looked down at her my glare immediately softened.

"Lana baby girl I'm so sorry" harry spoke his voice sounded hoarse. She let me go and climbed onto his bed wrapping her tiny arms around his neck. For a second I felt a pang of jealous towards how she so easily was able to hug him. As I watched them the gate to all my closed up emotions opened and they over took me. I let myself slowly sink down to my knees. My eyes began to prick and not soon after tears began to roll down my cheeks.

Harry came to kneel in front of me; cupping my cheeks he brought my face to his and quickly crashed our lips together. Every broken piece within me mended itself, every crack every wrinkle all began smooth under his touch. My body instantly reacted by wrapping itself around him. The feeling of his body pressed to mine was pure bliss.

He moaned into the kiss and pulled away. I instantly hated the distance, letting him know I didn't approve by groaning. He chuckled and stroked my cheek. I blushed and buried my face in his neck breathing in his intoxicating scent.
