Accident

"Please, Eren listen to me? Just give me a minute to explain..." Levi pleads, standing on his doorstep later that night.

The couple have had fights in the past, but they usually reconciled quickly and forgot about the petty argument. But this time is different. Eren locked Levi out of their room and their house, that they bought after they were married.

Levi had tears in his eyes as he watched the door and listened to the silence behind it.

"I'm not leaving this doorstep Eren." Levi says and sits on the cold concrete. It's getting dark now, about 6:00 pm in January. Not to mention the light snow falling from the sky made Levi cold as fuck. But he wasn't moving. Not until Eren would hear him out.

That was hours ago.

It's midnight, and Levi is still sitting on the doorstep, covered in a layer of snow, but asleep nonetheless. Still waiting for Eren to listen to him, and cursing himself for forgetting his keys at home that morning.

Little did he know, but Eren isn't home. He's at a club with Armin and drinking his sorrows away. He felt terrible for how he treated Levi, but he wasn't going to let Levi know that.

"Eren, you should go home, before you do something you regret." Armin pushes gently, trying to get the already drunk boy home, to no avail. He just sat on the bar stool, still drinking.

Armin eventually got him in the car and began driving him home. Suddenly, Eren sat up straight with a grin on his face.

"Armin I have a great idea! Have sex with me!" Eren cries excitedly, "That way, Levi will see that I don't need him! That'll teach him to cheat on me!"

"Eren, I don't think that's a good idea. Levi didn't cheat on you, he was just doing his job. He didn't even wanna film it, it took us an hour to convince him!" Armin exclaims with anger, sick of Eren's antics, "That man wouldn't cheat on you if we paid him! He loves you Eren! You need to stop acting like you're the victim here! Levi was trying to explain to you what was going on, and what did you do? You screamed at him and left him sobbing on the stage! That man adores you and you need to cut the shit and let him. " Armin finished his rant and took a few deep breathes.

Eren was silent for the rest of the ride home. When they finally arrived in the snowy driveway neither man recognized the lump of snow with black hair on the doorstep.

Eren leaned over and hugged Armin tightly, whispering an apology into his ear. To which, Armin just laughed a little and said, "It's fine."

The two pulled out of the hug, but still remained fairly close. Before Eren realized what he was doing, he leaned in and let his lips touch Armin's.

The blonde was shocked and didn't react until Eren pulled away with a look of fear on his face.

While Eren and Armin were kissing, Levi had gotten up and was standing in the headlights with a devastated look on his face.

Eren scrambles out of the car and goes to Levi.

"Levi it was an accident, please don't do anything okay." Eren slurs, the alcohol still present in his voice. Levi just shakes his head,

"Do what Eren? I waited here for hours just wanting to apologize and hold you. It killed me to think that you were just in there crying all by yourself!" Levi shouts, pointing to the house."But obviously you weren't alone. I guess I should've just gone to Hanji's or Erwin's." Levi finishes and stalks towards his motorcycle, sitting in the driveway covered.

"Levi please! I just- I'm sorry! Please don't leave!" Eren cries and stumbles over to grab onto Levi's hand.

"You know Eren, I love you with all my heart. You know I got fired today, for you?" Levi asks quietly, looking at the ground, "I refused to film the scene with Petra and the executive producer was there, after Armin left. They fired me without Erwin's consent. Said they would blacklist me. I won't be able to act now for a while. Just because I want you happy." Levi sobs at the end and looks at Eren, "I'll be at Hanji's."

He then climbed on his motorcycle and waited a moment, in case Eren would stop him. When no sound came, he drove off with tears flying down his face.
