The Eren and Levi Project

Fine

Eren arrived at the hospital in tears.

"Where's Levi? Where is my husband?!" He shouted, storming into the Emergency Room. Several nurses made an effort to try and comfort the taller boy, but he demanded to see his husband.

So Eren was led to a small hospital room, containing Hanji and Levi. Levi laid on the white bed, pale and skinny. Eren was shocked at the sight of his sleeping husband. He was fragile, really really skinny, with black circles around his eyes.

"Eren, I told you he needed you." Hanji whispered, holding Levi's paper like hand. She had tears in her eyes. "He was taking a shower when he passed out. I- I don't know how long he was out. I was at Erwin's and c-came back. I heard the water and went upstairs, it was leaking from under the door. I broke it down and he was just slumped on the ground with blood coming from h-his head." The tears were slipping down her face. "The nurse said he hadn't eaten for two weeks. He could've died. Died." Hanji broke down in sobs.

Eren sat on Levi's other side in shock. Levi. Dead. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if Levi had died.

"I'm so sorry Levi. I'm so so sorry. I just want you. I promise I'm so so sorry. Please come back to me. Please." Eren cried rocking back and forth. The tears leaking down his face and shaking .

He heard a slight cough and felt pressure on his hair.

"God damn Eren. Took you long enough." Levi said weakly and tugged on Eren's hair.

Eren looked up hopefully and saw Levi smiling at him. He leapt forward and tightly embraced his husband.

"You stupid man! You're so so stupid! I love you so much! You're so stupid!" Eren shouted, kissing all over Levi's face, causing the older man to smile and kiss his love back.

Levi only had to stay at the hospital for a week, getting fluids through an IV and getting on a regular eating schedule again.

Every day Eren went to the hospital and spent time with Levi. The two would cuddle and talk about how things would be different now.

Soon Levi was cleared to go home and the couple made their way back.

When they got there, Levi and Eren stood on their front porch and looked at the door.

Levi waited a moment before opening the door, into his and Eren's new future.
