Best Friends Part One

This is a surprise imagine for one of the greatest people on her :) Enjoy ! (y/n) and Neymar have been best friends forever until a girlfriend gets in the way of your friendship. Her name is Bruna Marquezine.  Neymar doesn't talk to you anymore because of this.  But you have hid your feelings for Neymar this whole time.. 

(y/n)'s POV

Neymar and I have been best friends since he joined Santos at the age of 11.  

After a couple years, I have had feelings for Neymar.  I was with my sister, Emma.  

She came downstairs with my dog, "(y/n). There is something I need to show you." 

She handed me her pink iPhone 6S.  I broke inside.  

There was a photo of Neymar kissing another girl.  

Caption: Minha querida princesa, eu te amo muito e estou orgulhoso estamos juntos / My dearest princess, I love you so much and I am proud we are together.. 

I put the phone down and grabbed a pillow and began to cry into it.  I can't believe it.  I could of said something to him but I never did.  

Flash back to the World Cup 

"Ney. Promise me you won't get hurt." 

"I won't I promise." 

His arms tightly went around my small body.  He kissed my forehead and smiled at me and walked away.  

I could of told him what I felt for him back then I never said anything.  

I got a text from him actually.  

N: Oi Melhor Amiga!

I didn't answer the text.  I broke myself inside and it's all my fault.  I couldn't believe I didn't say anything. I actually texted.  

Me: Hi. 

N: What's wrong?  

Me: Oh nothing.  

N: Are you sure? 

Me: I am 100% sure. 

N: Come over. 

Me: No. I am not coming over.  

N: I am coming over then. 

Me: Fine.  

Emma signed, "I am sorry I told you the truth."  

I signed, "It's fine. He is coming over then." 

She rolled his eyes, "Why? You hate him now."  

I signed, "I am mad at him but I still love him."  I heard a knock on the door.  

I opened to see Neymar wearing a nike snap back with a white NIKE polo with tight black jeans with white high top sneakers.  

I leaned against the door, "What do you want?"  

He signed, "I know when something is up with you. What is wrong?" 

I signed and rolled my eyes, "Nothing is wrong."  

He stepped into my house and shut the door, "What is wrong with you (y/n)?"  

I folded my arms, "You want to know truly?"  

He nodded as he looked at me.  

I signed, "I have always loved you! I never said anything Ney! You are a somebody while I am a nobody! Why would you want to date a ugly girl like me! I have loved you since the World Cup! I just threw all my love life away! I loved you so much and I just hate myself for this."  

He signed, "I am sorry. I am just in love with Brun-" 

I cut him off, "I know. Don't you think I don't know.  Emma told me."  

He signed, "I - I don't know what to say now."  

I signed, "You could leave and let me be." 

He signed, "But - (y/n)--"

I cut him off again as I raised my voice, "JUST GET OUT OF MY LIFE NEY!"  

He backed away, "Fine. I thought we were still friends. I guess not."  

He slammed the door shut. What .. What did I just do?  My best friend is walking away.
