(y/n)'s POV

I woke up to feel really cold.  I need a bath.  I grabbed a towel from the closet and walked into the bathroom. For some reason it was cold very cold in Madrid today.  

I was getting ready for the bath as I heard a knock on the door. I closed the door because I am really cold.  

James's POV

I woke up.  I heard my dog barking and barking. I guess someone is downstairs.  I slipped on a black tee and ran downstairs.  

I opened the door to see Neymar.  I folded my arms, "May I help you Neymar? She is busy."  

He signed, "I want to talk to her. I'll wait." 

I nodded, "Alright.  Do you want coffee or anything to eat?"  

He nodded, "Coffee if you could."  

I nodded and set up coffee in the kitchen.  Neymar was on his phone playing with my dog.  

I finished up the coffee and handed him a mug.  He thanked me as I heard (y/n) coming downstairs.  

She was wearing my long sleeve.  Her hair was wet because she just took a shower.  I hugged her tightly, "Neymar wanted to talk to you love."  

She nodded, "Alright thanks babe."  

(y/n)'s POV

I saw Neymar on the couch. He looked nervous and I wanted to know why.  I pulled him upstairs, "What is wrong? You look nervous and scared Ney."  

He signed, "I can't do this. But I have to."  

I was confused at what he was saying.  I signed, "What do you mean?"  

He placed his fingers through his hair, "Listen. I - I um I don't know how to say this (y/n).. I like you.  I always have. I know you are with James right now. I had to let you know how I truly felt for the greatest girl ever.  If you ever need anyone I am always going to be by your side.  You don't have to leave James for me.  I am not asking of that.  You two are perfect for each other. I will always be here for you as a friend but maybe more in the future."  

I signed, "Ney. I - I don't know what to say. But I want to thank you for being the greatest friend I could ever ask for.  You are one I will never stab in the back.  You are one in a million Ney. Never forget that. I promise that."  

He smiled widely, "Thank you so much (y/n). You are my best friend."
