I remember waking up that day, February 5, 2016.  I remember how loud it was.  I remember getting a loud knock on my door.  I rolled out of bed and opened the door to see no one there but just a small box with a letter on it.  

I carried the box inside and was concerned about who it was from.  It was a letter taped to the box. I cut open the box, and saw a black glittered dress with a flower head piece.  I opened the letter to see it was from my long time best friend, Neymar.  

I haven't spoke to him since I told him I fell for him but he loved Bruna Marquezine.  

Dear (y/n), 

We haven't spoke in awhile.  I am inviting you to my 24th birthday party! You know where my house is and I can't wait to see you there

I smiled at the note but I also remembered the past.

Flashback 

"Neymar I love you...." I held his hands but he let go.  

"I'm sorry (y/n). But I love - I love Bruna..." My heart shattered inside..

I took a gulp and looked back at the dress. I slipped on some new underwear and a different bra for the party.  I slipped on the black glittering dress.  I looked into the mirror and took a breathe.  I decided to braid my hair in the back.  

I applied some dark red lipstick and some mascara.  I didn't want to put a lot of makeup on because I am just going to a party.  I haven't seen him in awhile. He could have changed. I grabbed my keys and jumped into my car.

Neymar's house was crowd with cars all around it, it was pretty obvious it was his party because I saw Batman all over the place.  I knocked on the gate that was in front of his house.  I took a breathe as I held onto the gift I brought for him.  Hopefully he likes it.  

The gate opened for me to see his mother and father.  They were shocked to see me, before I could say anything they wrapped their arms around me and kissed my cheeks so many times.  I smiled at them both, "It's so great to see you again." 

Nadine smiled at me, "We haven't seen you in awhile (y/n).  How have you been? Oh let me stop asking questions, let's get you inside to see the birthday boy!"  

I smiled as the gate closed behind me.  Nadine and Neymar Sr walked me up to the front door as the door opened for me to see all of Neymar's friends scattered around the house.  Some of them were playing on the play station, others were trying to cook, well key word trying.. 

Nadine pointed to the table where all the gifts were.  I placed it down as I looked around his house. I haven't been in here in forever until something or someone pulled my high sock down.  I looked down to see Davi. I remember Davi!

I picked him up and kissed his cheek, "Davi! How are you my little prince!" I began to tickle him as he laughed and snuggled into my chest.  I missed Davi, but where is this birthday boy? 

Until, my heart stopped.  My heart shattered.  I turned to see Bruna Marquezine.  She was wearing a maroon dress that was cut like a V in the front showing off her chest. It was cut in the back like a U.  She was wearing red lipstick like me.  Her hair was just crazy beautiful.  But then, I saw him... I saw Neymar.  

My stomach began to get butterflies.  What is happening to me?  Neymar turned to look at me. My heart stopped.  Neymar waved to me.
