I hear the Malik's leave and I tiredly flop down on the sofa. "Sooooo....." my mum says and trails off. "So what?" I ask and my mum laughs "So did you like them?" she asks and I nod but say "You mean did I like Zayn...." my mum laughs again and nods her head. "Yeah, I suppose that's what I meant." I shake my head playfully and say "Yeah but I don't really have a choice on the marriage matter right? Cuz I'm a girl." I look away with tears brimming in my eyes and my mum looks at me sympathetically. "Oh baby I know, but this is our culture." I nod and say "I know. I'm just gonna go change and I guess I'll help you clean then." my mum nods and I walk upstairs. I pull on a tank top and sweats with tears falling from my eyes as I thought about Hadi.
