It's been a week since the disappearance of the prince of Mirkwood and as the days goes by the King is becoming more and more anxious and no doubt that he would succumb to grief anytime soon unless they will find the missing prince.

THRANDUIL'S POV

It's been a week and still there is no news on the whereabouts of my son. Why did I let this happen I thought I had him protected. Oh, Valar why is this happening to me? Please protect my son.

"Well, well, well what do we have now a very restless King," a voice filled with malice suddenly spoke breaking the silence and getting my attention.
"Who are you?" I questioned anxiously while scanning my surroundings.
"Well my name is Faeron," the voice introduced himself.
"Come out right now," I ordered using my cold voice. Faeron chuckled and revealed himself. "Who are you?" I narrowed my eyes to Faeron.
"I'm a friend of your son," he simply answered making my anger flare.
"How did you get in here?" anger clearly lacing my voice.
"Aww, the King doesn't even know how I was able to enter of course I have my ways," he answered while smiling. I will make sure that his smile will be wiped off.
"What do you want?" I asked gritting my teeth.
"I just want to inform you that your son is such a good elfling that I don't have any problems with him," he said while smiling wickedly.

Upon hearing his statement I already knew that he is the one who took my son. How dare he take my son, what reason does he have to take my son.

"Where is my son? What do you want from him?" I asked controlling my anger as long as I can.
"Well you see a wizard like me needs an heir and I have chosen your son to be that heir seeing as you don't really care about him," he answered. So his a wizard that explains everything.
"Return my son or else I will hunt you down," I threatened holding the hilt of my sword.
"Now why would I return your son Thranduil? He told me that you hated him and that you don't want him anymore," he said while smiling at me, he's taunting me.
"He will never say that," I countered.
"Oh is that so why don't you ask your Captain of the guards of the truth besides his been with your son more than you ever did," he laughed and then was gone just as guards entered the hall.
"Your highness are you alright?" one of the guards asked.
"I'm fine," I answered coldly. "Where is Arphenion?" I asked knowing that he will be arriving today.
"He has just arrive your highness," the guard answered.
"Send him here NOW!!" I commanded.

I was pacing again when the door opened and Arphenion entered giving me a bow. I stopped and faced him.

"I know who took my son," I stated and I saw his eye widened with a hint of anger.
"Who is it my king?" He asked immediately.
"Faeron, the friend who Legolas hides... And his a wizard," I informed him.
"But how can you be so sure?" He then again asked.
"He visited me a while ago," I answered again. "And he told me that he has my son, that he would make Legolas his heir and I'm not about to sit here around and let him do what he wants," I added before he can even speak.
"What do you want us to do my King?" Arphenion immediately asked.
"Prepare our best warriors and call Larion now," I commanded. Arphenion stood and went out of the throne room.

I started again to pace back and fort thinking of all the possible wizards that are still alive until now but I've never heard of the name Faeron. Who is he? My mind can not find the answer. I need Larion, where is he? He is supposed to be here now. The door burst open and came Larion panting.

"You called for me King Thranduil," he managed to bow after catching his breath.
"Yes, do you know any witch with a name of Faeron?" I asked still restless. I stopped from pacing and faced him. After a while of thinking he managed to answer.
"Only one. King Thranduil, he is an unknown wizard of the South there is nothing known about him all we know is that he never mingles with other people and the extent of his power is also unknown for he never participates in any conflict happening here at middle earth," he further explained and I nodded in understanding.
"Where particularly in the South can I find him?" I again inquired.
"I do not know King Thranduil but it is said that his home is near the White Lake," he answered. "Why are you so eager to know about this wizard?" He then asked, confusion clearly written on his face.
"He has my son, he personally informed me after his uncalled visit and he claims to be my child's friend, that also explains why he can easily enter and exit my Kingdom without being noticed," I explained and Arphenion came just in time to inform me that the warriors are ready.
"Are you going to confront him King Thranduil?" he asked eyeing me carefully.
"Yes and I will be sure to bring my son back," I answered confidently.
"Be careful then King Thranduil for we do not know his true power," he bade his goodbye and went out of the room.

I immediately followed Arphenion at the stables and there in line my warriors. My horse has also been readied. I rode my horse and let him run my warriors followed. I will rescue my son no matter what.

FAERON'S POV
After my visit to King Thranduil I found Legolas fast asleep when I returned home. I smiled at the sight of this little elfling sleeping. I know that after my visit the king himself will come here and take his son back but of course I will not let that happen easily for him. He should know that I will not return his son without giving him some challenges, I smiled at that thought.

I stroked Legolas's hair while thinking of the king's reaction when he would learn of the truth oh I can't wait to see the shock on his face.

"Faeron, why are you smiling?" Legolas asked sleepily while looking at me with those sleepy eyes.
"Hmmm... Nothing," I smiled at him. He yawned and snuggled close to me.
"Legolas do you still remember your mother?" I asked the little elfling.
"Not really I just remembered that she has a sweet voice that calms me whenever I have my nightmares or when I'm scared, I remembered how he sang me lullabye to make me sleep," he said while looking up at me with a smile.
"Do you miss her?" I asked again.
"Yes, because I love her so much and because my Ada loves her so much," he answered sincerely
"How about your Ada do you miss him?" He sat up and bowed his head while fidgeting.
"Y-yes..." he answered trailing off.
"Come here Legolas," I beckoned which he eagerly complied and I hugged him.
