Chapter 6

As the days passed by it was the Fourth of July and Brandon was having a big party for everyone, he said the press will be all over the both of us, I think they know about us or will soon. I already told Jake that he needs to get over it because I’m with Brandon now. Too bad he didn’t believe me or anyone else for that matter.

It’s sad I just know that he works whenever he wants and lives in Beverly Hills, I should ask him now as I think about it.

Jess, Emily and I got to his house; I walked in as workers flooded his house making sure everything is perfect for later today’s activities. I kept on walking and saw Brandon outside in the Patio by the pool. He looked mad, today was the big day that all his friends learn to know about us, and mines also.

 “This is it, it’s amazing right?” I asked

“Yeah, what does he do to afford all this?” Jess asked.

“I have no clue.”

“How he’s been your boyfriend for a week or so now.” Emily asked.

“We don’t talk about stuff like this.”

I never realized how big this house was until Jess said something about it. I went and put my bad in his room. I showed the girls around the house, I was so used to being here that it was like my second home.

I did love the house that my parents grew me up in and that we still live in, I knew that I could easily afford a house like Brandon’s but I didn’t want jess to show that money we have around. I’m saving it for her college and mines too.

 My boss that the Clothing Company I usually work at is loaded, I had never met him but all the other model say he’s hot, young and owns the company. Technaily they just hire me to do the shoots, I do go everywhere.

I was surprised how far I’ve became since my parents death and now with school and having it all done. I’m glad Jess won’t have this problem.

Around six this party was in effect.  We all are staying the night here because I know Em’s and I will drink a bit too much tonight and I will go crazy.  Jess will stay away from it all and I will make sure of it and Emily will too. I told the bartender that he can’t give her anything, if so I will make sure he will not get paid as much as he should have...or he will be paid more than what he will have.

“Hey babe.”  I said to Brandon.

“Hey.” He pulled me closer and kissed me on the cheek.

“We got to go towards the press and announce our relationship to everyone, so they can leave and this party can get in full effect.” He said.

“Do we have to?” I asked. I really didn’t want the press in it but Brandon wanted to make sure everyone knew I was his. I do keep Jess away from it all too, they don’t know she’s my sister and she doesn’t tell anyone I’m her sister either.

“Yes.”

“Fine but answer me this...”

“Where do you work?”

“Exposed work, I own it why?”

“Crap!” I thought as well I kind of worked for him.

“What’s wrong?”

“I model there a lot. If you didn’t know babe your company hires me to do almost every shoot.”

“Really?” he looked happy about it.

“Yeah, you don’t look at the pictures?” I asked.

“No I have Alex to do that, all I do is run the business and tell the workers what to go.”

“Well ever ask alex if it was me?”

“I didn’t think about it.”

“Nice job there, what are we going to do?”

“Still tell the press, maybe not so many shoots?”

“I still got to work.” I said.

“I’ll Talk to Blake, don’t worry” he said.

“Ok.”

A few minutes later we walked over to where the press was. We stood there and let them take pictures of us for a minute or so.

“Hello, we asked you to come here today to announce our relationship and will answer a few questions.” He stated

“Ok, you” I said as I pointed to man with blonde hair.

“Kandis, what happened to you and Jake Black? Why so fast with Brandon?” the reporter said

I really wanted to say that I wanted to break up with Jake in March but I didn’t because I knew If I did Jess will have a harder time and I just postponed it til this June because I finally had enough of his problems. I thought more and more that Brandon was the one, not because of the numbers of zeros he has in his bank account but because in hes just Brandon with me, not trying to make me someone I’m not and forcing me to go to party’s for publicity. I didn’t want that at all but jake made me go.

“I really didn’t want to be with Jake a month before, but it was my parent’s death anniversary for me, I couldn’t go through both at the same time so I postponed breaking up with Jake. When I met Brandon I liked him immediately, but I didn’t know he liked me back until we got together and now here we are.”

“Where did you two meet?”

“We met at Disneyland.”

“Was it love at first sight?”

“I think so” He said then I said “Me too.” I smiled as I looked at him; he was still fixed at looking at all the photographers taking pictures.

“Any more questions?” Brandon Asked, everyone was silent, “Ok then you can leave now.”

“Let’s got get you a drink.” He said

“Agreed.”

We walked to the bar, I saw the bartender making drinks for people.

“You’re doing what I asked?” I said to him

“Yeah I am.”

“Good but can you give me a coke and rum please?”

“Yeah coming up.”

Brandon grabbed a beer from the table.

“Foods coming up soon.” He said

“Really babe, I’m super hungry I probably could eat a cow.”

“Well let’s fix that." He said

Ok that's all i got so far, i had everything else written so im trying to make updates more frequent but i just got a job and now school im going to try my best to write atleast til the next few chapters(:
