So when I first uploaded this chapter it was on my 18th birthday. 18, wow it's crazy to think I'm 22 now though. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! YASS YA GIRL FINALLY 18 🤣 not anymore. I hope you enjoy this spicy chapter.
Chapter 23:
"Jay Jay, I can't believe it's you, I missed you so much." The girl with the flawless red hair said running up to James and jumping on him.
Yes MY James!! This girl was about 5'7 and had the most perfect body in the world, she was skinny, but she had curves in all the right places. But that's not the point, the point is she was all over my man and he wasn't doing a thing about it. THERE WAS GOING TO BE A PROBLEM HERE."Becky, I missed you too." So this was the Rebecca/Becky girl James and Dale was talking about the other day? James gave Becky a hug holding onto her small figure.
"How long has it been, like four years now right?" Becky flipped her hair with the back of her hand. The same thing Kristy does when she's flirting with someone.
"Yes it's been awhile, but look at you. You looking good so obviously your getting back on your feet." James said to Becky. I stood by the counter rolling my eyes. I think I had every right to be upset.
"Yes it's been rough, but I'm getting through it. And I see you looking good too." Becky felt on James arms. If James doesn't do anything about this girl I'm going to go off in this place. "Look at these arms you've been working out?"
"Actually..." I cleared my throat behind James and he stopped talking and turned around to face me. "Oh Sunshine this is a very good friend of mine Becky and Becky this is my girlfriend Deanna." James introduced us to each other.
"Hi, and it's just Deedee." I grabbed onto James arms giving Becky a fake smile.
"This is your girlfriend?" Becky laughed. "And it's Rebecca, only close friends and family call me Becky."
"Becky come on that's my girlfriend." James said to Rebecca.
Was it wrong that I just met her and didn't like her already? She had a nasty attitude and clearly she has or had a thing for James. I may be quiet, but she doesn't want to get in the way of what's mine. I would make her life a living hell.
"Whatever." She rolled her eyes and grabbed up on James' arm again. This girl had some nerve like if I wasn't right there. "James can you get me something to drink? I'm parched."
"You have two working feet and hands, you can calmly make your way to the kitchen and serve yourself just like everyone else at this party." I said with an attitude moving her hand off James.
"Sunshine be nice, I don't mind." James said looking at me.
"I don't care if you don't mind she can get it herself." I yelled at James and everyone started watching us so James took me into the kitchen.
"What is the problem?" James asked me as nice as possible.
"The problem is HER, I don't like her, first she shows up here all up on you and you don't do anything about it. Then she comes up in my face and you defend her." I told James.
"Deedee she never even got in your face." James got defensive.
"There you go defending her again." I was upset. "So she's your girlfriend now?"
"I'm not even defending her, and she's not my girlfriend you are. Rebecca is just my best friend." James played himself just now.
"She is not your best friend, Dale is." I yelled.
"Stop yelling and yes Dale is my best friend, she's just my girl best friend." There he goes again playing himself.
"James are we seriously going through this right now, you don't need no damn girl best friend. You got me and that's it. END OF STORY!" I rolled my eyes.
"Um James I'm waiting for my drink." Rebecca said walking into the kitchen interrupting our conversation.
"Get it your damn self you already walked into the kitchen." I rolled my eyes.
"Can you please cut it out love?" James yelled at me like seriously he really just yelled at me, over some girl I just met two minutes ago.
"Whatever, just do what you want James. I don't care anymore. Do what you want." I ran out of the kitchen to find Dale. "Why did you invite her here?'
"What are you talking about?" Dale slurred his words. I knew he was drunk, it was going to be pointless trying to explain to him why I was upset.
"Ugh I told you not to get drunk." I told Dale. "But whatever just look at them." I pointed in the direction of James and Rebecca in the kitchen.
Rebecca was being all flirty and throwing herself at James it was obvious she had or has a crush on him and I don't like it. How could he be so oblivious to that, the clues are all there? The twirling and flipping of the hair, the way she constantly grabbed onto him. The more I looked at them the angrier I got
"Deedee I'm really sorry, I didn't know you and James were going to get together. I wouldn't of have invited her and then at the time you said you didn't like James." So this is my fault now?
"Wait so she does like James?" I asked Dale.
"She used to I didn't think she still did though it was such a long time ago." WOW I can't deal with this right now.
"Dale I can't stay here I have to go." I ran off into my room and started packing a bag with clothes in it, I need to get away before I lose my mind. In what book is this ok in? Not mine!
"Where are you going?" Dale asked following me into the room.
"Away from here, I can't be here right now watching them." I'm just going to spend the night by Kristy, she'll understand my reason for coming to her house now. I finished packing up the rest of my stuff and walked out past Dale and then James and Rebecca, but James quickly grabbed onto my wrist. "James let me go."
"Where do you think you're going?" James asked me.
"Out that's none of your concern." I tried to get out of James grip.
"It's almost 2 in the morning." James slowly let me go.
"I don't care I just can't be around you with her here." I was frustrated. "James it's just not working for me."
"Are you breaking up with me?" James asked with a frown on his face.
"No I just... I just need my space." I started walking away from James.
"Sunshine please let's talk about this." James tried to grab onto me again, but I softly smacked his hand away from me.
"I don't want to talk, go talk to your little girlfriend over there." I pointed to Rebecca standing in the corner with her arms crossed.
"She's not my girlfriend. Sunshine please don't do this." James said.
"Whatever, goodbye James." I opened the door to go outside. I knew I shouldn't have said goodbye, and I regretted it the moment I did, but I couldn't turn around and apologize. I had to keep it pushing,
"Don't you goodbye me." James said, but I ignored him and slammed the door in his face.
That was the first time I said goodbye in a really long time, but I didn't really mean it I was just so angry at everything. This was not the reason why I gave James a chance, I felt broken all over again. I needed to talk to Kristy no matter what the time was. This is a girl's 9-1-1 emergency. I stood at the bus stop crying and waiting. This has got to be the second worst day of my life.
A/N please don't kill me for this chapter. I've honestly been trying to stall it but sadly I had to post it sometime. Please show me mercy since today is my birthday. (Jan 9th, just in case you're wondering) This has got to be the hardest chapter I had to write ever and it's killing me. I hope you liked it though. I really still love you guys ❤️
