Chapter 5

I slowly opened my eyes, feeling other stares on me. I tilt my head to see everyone pacing or sitting on the ground.
They haven't noticed.
I cough lightly, earning their attention. I sit up and rub my eyes, feeling a hand go on my knee.
I gasp, jumping back.
"You foolish girl!" He slaps me, making me fall to the murky floor. I spit out blood and begin to crawl away but he stops me.
I am pulled by my braid and made to stand up, feeling my shattered ankle below me.
I cry out in pain as he throws me back down.
"You are to never attempt to escape again!" I get kicked in the stomach, rolling onto my back. I gasp for air as black dots cloud my vision.
He grabs my knee and squeezes, earning a snap and a cry in pain.
"Please stop!" I beg as he lets go of my knee, leaving a bruise.
"If you EVER try to escape again, you will get a much worse punishment" he growled as he walks towards the door. Before stepping out, he glances at me with the utmost creepy smile "Enjoy your sleep"
I cry and cry until I have no more tears to shed, until each cry turns into a silent scream, a desperate need of help.
"Please, please help me" I whimper, laying on my bed.
"Elsa, Elsa it's okay" Bunnys voice was in hearing range now.
I cried my eyes out, I cried because I was scared. I cried for mercy. I cried for help. I cried because of the fear that lurks everywhere. I cry because of what he did to me.
"I'm scared bunny" I whimper as my voice shakes. I know guardian's are suppose to be fearless and all, but I'm afraid to even be around anyone.
"Its okay, Els. We are here for you" North said and began patting my back.
"Elsa, I'm sorry. If I may ask, what happened?" I looked up to find Jack standing over me with a worried face.
I buried my face into the crook of bunnys neck.
"I don't want to talk about it" I said, hearing him sigh.
Bunny has always been like a brother to me, he's always there for me.
"Bunny, when will they end...?" I whisper, my voice barely audible.
"Soon" Was all he could say. He knew they were never going to end, yet he hides it with a lie to calm me down. And I know that I will never get rid of my past.
I just nod and try to calm myself down.
We're going to be okay, Elsa.
Are we?
Are we going to be okay? Is it all going to suddenly disappear?
I slowly come to the realization that I shouldn't have.
"Bunny..." I whisper, backing a away from him "We could erase my memories, make me forget about it"
"No, we gone through this Elsa. It's too dangerous" Bunny said, grabbing my hands in his "What if you forget all of us, your past with your" he paused "Your parents, your sister? Do you want to forget all of that?"
I stayed silent for a moment "You are right, but I can't take anymore of this! It's-Its killing me to see you up day and night over me. Just let me do this, I could be normal! I-I can forget" My voice shook at the end.
He sighed "Elsa, you are not doing it and that's final. I will not stand there and watch as all of your memories are wiped away" He stood up and walked away, pushing past everyone.
Why did you do that! Have you gone mad!? You know what happened to him!
I gasped I forgot... I'm so stupid!
"Bunny!" I got up and ran towards bunny, ignoring everyone's confused stares.
I caught up with him and stopped him. Tears ran down his face as he turned to me.
"I won't let you willingly do what I didn't have a choice in... I won't" I pulled him into a hug as he cried onto my shoulder.
"I'm so sorry bunny, I forgot. I'm sorry, I will never talk about it again. I swear" I petted his head as his shoulders shook and tears fell onto my shoulder.
"Bunny, you want to go to the Easter palace and paint some eggs?" I asked as I looked up, trying to stop the tears from coming.
He stood up straight, wiping his tears. He faked a smile.
"Not now mate, I've gotta be alone for a while" He tapped the ground and fell into the hole.
"Bunny, wait!" Before I could stop him, he was already gone.
"Elsa, what have you done to bunny?" Tooth asked from behind me, obviously waiting to pounce on me.
I sighed and wiped my cheeks from dried tears, might as well be prepared for it.
I spun around and sniffled "Tooth, he just needed to be alone for a little bit. I will not run away this time and you will not do the same thing you did that night" I hissed, sticking a finger towards her. Her facial expression turned extremely angry as her face redend.
"Listen here, Knight. You have, in any way, no right for you to talk to me like that"
"Tooth" North said, trying to stop her.
"That night"
"Tooth!" North yelled, turning towards her.
"You are the reason Sandy died, and if he hadn't had came back, you would already be out the door by MY hand"
She had already walked five feet towards me.
I glanced at Sandy as his expression broke, showing a hint of fear as he looked at me.
"Wait what!? She killed Sandy!?" Punzie butted in, followed by the rest of them shaking their head or saying something.
"You killed Sandy?"
"She did!?"
"What?"
"This can't be true!"
"Why is she here then?"
I began to get nervous as Tooth realized what she had done, followed by a dark smile.
"She did, with her bare hands" Tooth crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow.
"You know that's not true Sandy" I said, stepping towards him. In a flash, Jack was in front of me, blocking the way and view of Sandy.
I looked up at him, slightly frightened by the speed of him getting to me.
"You need to leave" Jack said, looking scarier than ever.
"Y-You have to believe me, I didn't do what she claimed I did... I could get hurt if I leave now!" I begged, backing away as he walked towards me.
"Tooth, that is  a lie and you know it!" North said angrily "Jack, get away from her!"
"No North! Sandy died by her hands. She deserves what's coming to her!" Jack shouted angrily.
I dropped to my knees and covered my ears.
They're back Elsa! Get up!
"Please stop" I beg, letting tears fall.
Get up!
"Please" I whispered, shutting my eyes.
Please Elsa! They could all die if you don't!
I continued to cry, fearful of what might happen. I am suddenly slid across the ground. My back hits the wall and I let out a silent cry.
I open my eyes and see dust everywhere. I slowly stand up, ignoring the blazing pain in my back.
Ha ha ha ha.... Elsa
I gasp, looking all around me, seeing nobody.
As I was looking, I saw everyone on the ground.
No... Please no
"Yes, Elsa you let them die. You didn't do anything about it"
