I watch as Jack walks into the chapel in a tux and tie.
"You look good in a tux" I said into the earpiece. I saw his shoulders shake slightly.
"Thanks, I'll remember that" He chuckled.
I shake my head and watch people crowd into the chapel. I'm on the rooftop of the building across the street, which isn't too high.
I'm glad Anna planned it at sunset, gives me an advantage.
"Remember what to do, Overland" I say and hear him chuckle.
.
.
.
I gasp and sit up in my bed, breathing heavily.
So, what does this mean?
"I-I don't know" I sigh, rubbing my head. I push the covers off of me and get out of bed, hearing the rain and thunder outside. I walk into my personal bathroom and look in the mirror, turning on the cold water and splashing same on my face. As I did, my sleeve fell from my shoulder, letting something from the past show.
I sighed and turned off the water, not wanting to look up at the mirror.
It's okay, Els. He won't get to us again.
I look up and turn around, pulling up the back of my shirt in the process. Large and small scars lined my black, from him whipping, burning, cutting, and operating on me. Scars are also on my stomach, but have faded with time. They are still visible though.
My door clicked open and I quickly pushed down my shirt, stepping out of my bathroom to see Jack walk in.
"Elsa?" He paused for a moment "You're finally awake... I-It's been at least a week, we were worried sick" He walked towards me, wrapping his arms around my torso.
No, we couldn't have been out for that long... right?
I got out of his grasp and walked out of my room, being greeted by Bunny.
"Elsa" He said, happily.
I walked on further, seeing everyone else.
"What?" I asked, turning around and swing nothing but snow. I turned back around to see a big mountain.
"No, t-this isn't right" I began to worry as I looked around frantically, trying to find anyone I could talk to.
Elsa, just go up the mountain. There must be something up there important.
I nodded and looked towards the mountain and began walking towards it. The wind picked up as I did, blowing my hair and clothes back. I glance behind me to see dust particles flying off behind me, I look down and see myself in some short of outfit. My hand moved up to my face and I felt a mask and hood, I look over my shoulder to see a bow and quiver.
"Elsa! Come on!" My head snapped forward And I saw another person in front of me with the same outfit as me. Whoever it was began running and disappeared.
"Wait!" I yelled, running after them.
"Let her go!" I gasped as I heard myself, I kept on running, catching up with the person.
"Stay with me Elsa" Jack?
The trees thickened as I ran faster.
"Please! I need help!" I cried out, falling through the treeline and into an empty path the to top of the mountain. I look up to find the person walking towards the top of the mountain.
I quickly stand up and began running again, feeling as if I'm getting slower.
"I love you, Elsa"
I fell to my knees as the person stopped and turned around.
"Remember me"
I close my eyes and look down, supporting myself with my right arm.
"Make me forget" I heard myself say "Give me them back in 300 Years time"
I heard the person stop in front of me. I opened my eyes and looked up slightly, seeing their knees in front of me.
"W-Who are you?" I asked, slowly looking up. I heard them chuckle.
"You know who I am" I gasped and looked up quickly.
"Jack?" I asked, sitting up. The clouds disappeared, revealing the moon above us. He pushed his hood and mask down, revealing those blue eyes and white hair.
"We knew each other, Elsa. Before you died" He said, resting his Palm on my cheek. I leaned into his Palm and closed my eyes "I died right before you, You were protecting Manny while he saved me... You died protecting me, Elsa, and I appreciate that"
I felt a tear fall down my cheek.
(Okay! By this point you already might know what I'm doing. If you don't... Then just wait till Monday ;))
"But you died Jack, all of you... I-I let all of you die" I whimpered, opening my eyes to find him without a disguise on, just brown pants and a blue hoodie. He was smiling of all things.
"You tried your best, love" he said, petting my cheek "And we knew that"
I wrapped my arms around his torso and began to cry, feeling his arms go around me.
"You have to wake up, Elsa. I'm waiting for you, and I've gotten my memories back also. Just wake up" He whispered, rocking us back and fourth.
"Elsa, you must wake up" Manny said.
I closed my eyes and felt him let go of me.
.
.
.
I slowly opened my eyes, seeing the ceiling above me. The door was basically broken down by Bunny.
"Your awake!" He said, hopping towards me and jumping onto my bed.
"Hi bunny, do you know where Jack is?" I asked, turning around to face him.
"Yea, he's in the egg painting room. Why?" He asked, confused.
"I need to see him. Mind giving us a couple of minutes?" I asked, pushing the covers off of me.
"Yea, but no funny business" He joked, waving his finger around.
"Bunny!" I exclaimed, turning red. I quickly walked out of the room and shut the door behind me.
Elsa, are you sure that wasn't just a dream?
"I'm positive" I said as I climbed the stairs to the painting room. I pushed the doors opened and walked in, seeing Jack with his back to me.
"She still asleep?" He asked, painting an egg.
I kept walking towards him until I was standing beside him "Jack?"
He jumped and dropped the egg, looking down at it sympathetically "Oh come on, I just finished it-" He stopped and looked at me "Elsa! Your awake!" He exclaimed, jumping down and wrapping his arms around my neck.
I giggled and hugged him, patting his back also "Jack... Do you, uh... Do you know me? Like really know me?"
He let go of me and stepped back, having a confused and happy expression "What do you mean? L-Like... Past? Before I died?"
I nodded, looking down. I stepped back, watching the floor as I did "I-I uhm... My memories, they were given back to me... And you and I, we... We loved each other." I said as I stopped and looked up, seeing him walking towards me "I don't know if it was just a dream...or if it was real"
What's... What's happening!? Ow! Elsa help me!
I jumped back and turned around, seeing Pitchs father. Suddenly, blazing pain erupted in my head. I screamed out, clutching my head as I fell to my knees.
He's taking me! Elsa!
"Hylia!" I cried out as tears fell down my cheeks. I looked up, seeing him walking towards me with a wide smile on his face. I watched as purple dust gathered beside him, coming from my chest.
It stopped and I fell to the ground, feeling all of my energy drain.
"Jack" I whimpered, watching him disappear. I rolled onto my back and looked to my left. He wasn't here.
I heard the door break down as I tried to sit up.
"Elsa! What happened!?" Bunny asked, running towards me. He kneeled down next to me and put me in his lap.
"H-He took her" I whimpered, feeling more tears running down my cheeks "Hylia is gone, a-along with Jack"
"But I just saw him on the roof" He said, pointing behind him with his thumb.
I just whimpered and buried my face in his chest. Hylia is gone, he finally got her after all this time... And I don't think he's going to go easy on her.
.
.
.
1 Week Later...
It's been so hard without her, Jack has gone missing and I know who took him. Bunny has been trying to cheer me up, but It doesn't always work. Usually, I just put on a smile and try not to hurt his feelings, but in the end... I think I'm only making it worse. So, to end all of this torment, I'm going to save both of them, even if I must return. As long as they are safe, it will be okay. I packed a couple of snowglobes in a bag and slung it over my shoulder.
But I'm not going unprotected, I found my disguise and weapons from the house I use to live in. Luckily nobody saw me.
I walked towards the main room, letting bunny see me like this for the first time. He doesn't know it was me that helped him, nor does he know it was me they saved.
I stopped before walking in, taking a deep breath and letting it go. Prepare for a boomerang...
I stepped out from behind the wall and walked into the room, seeing bunny with his back to me. I gulped and made sure everything was good.
"Ahem"
He jumped up and spun around, grabbing a boomerang and throwing it at me. But luckily, I pulled out my bow and shot it out of the air.
"Who are you?" He asks, reaching for another boomerang.
"Bunny! Bunny! It's me!" I said as I put my bow away and pulled down my mask.
He looked at me for a second before holding his chest "You nearly gave me a heart attack!" He sat back down and chuckled "So, that was you all those years ago?"
I nodded and smiled, remembering what I came here for, slowly making my smile fade.
"Bunny, I um... I'm gonna be gone for a bit. Manny wants me to check something out, and he has instructed that I go alone. We don't know if anything is going on yet, and its best if you stay here" I lied, not having the heart to tell him I might not be coming back. He simply nodded and smiled.
"Just be careful" He says and walks up to me, wrapping his arms around me.
"I will, who knows. I might just find Jack on the way" I chuckled, patting his back and letting go of him.
"Hopefully" He said as he stepped back.
I raised my hand and waved. I pulled up my mask and walked towards the exit, feeling the tears stinging my eyes.
As I walked onto the grass, the moon was nowhere to be seen. He knows what I'm doing, and he might be telling bunny right now.
I took out one of the snowglobes and whispered into it "Jack" I smashed it and walked through, stepping into an all to familiar place.
The walls were made of rock, the floor was covered in red, only a small light source hung at the end of the corridor, and guards were walking around.
"Okay, here goes nothing" I whisper as I begin to walk down the corridor. I stayed near the ground as I neared the guards, suddenly hearing a very painful scream in the distance. I closed my eyes and forced myself not to run after it, knowing that if I did he would be alerted.
I snuck past the guards as their backs were turned towards me, once I got past I heard another scream.
I stood up and began running, passing all of the guards as I alerted them.
"Intruder!" One of them yelled from behind me. I came up to a fork and went left, blocking the way off with a fire wall.
"And just who are you?" Pitchs voice echoed through the halls.
I didn't answer, I just continued on until I came up on a door. I caught my breath and reached for the handle, already knowing what'd I see behind it. I twisted the handle and pulled it open, seeing cells lining the walls, a torture chamber at the very end of the room, guards standing beside each cell, the walls and floor was a murky blue and a couple cell doors open.
Shivers ran down my back as I walked in, looking into each cell and seeing nobody... Until I got to my cell.
Her skin was covered in cuts and bruises, her purple hair was everywhere, her clothes were ripped in places, she was sitting in the corner with her knees against her chest and her face was buried between her knees.
Footsteps echoed through the room as he walked in, fully dressed in black.
He stopped when he saw me and furrowed his brows "Intresting... You're new" He began walking towards me and I drew my bow, pulling back an arrow.
He stopped again and held his hands up, signalling peace "Hey, I mean no harm. I just came to see exactly who you are, or at least get a better look at you" He chuckled as he looked me up and down "You could be of some use to me"
Suddenly, stuff began crashing behind me as he stepped back. I turned around, seeing all of the guards gone.
"Stop him for me" Pitch whispered into my ear "and you will get a reward for doing so"
I heard him walk off as the door began to get hit on, leaving dents in it.
I quickly looked around and burned all of the cameras to make sure he couldn't see me. I ran behind one of the cell doors as the door was thrown all the way across the room. I glanced around the door and saw Jack standing in the door way, really really angry. The door pitch walked out of had been blocked by a big wall of steel. I looked back at Jack and took a deep breath.
"Jack?" I asked, gaining his attention "It's me, E-Elsa" I stuttered, slowly walking out from behind the door as his eyes stayed locked on me. I stopped and pulled my bow and quiver off, making sure not to spook him. I laid them on the ground and held up My hands, standing up slowly "I'm not going to hurt you,and your not going to hurt me" I began walking towards him, stepping over my bow and quiver.
"Jack?" I said as I pull down my mask "See?"
That only made him more angry. He ran towards me and I quickly picked up my bow and quiver, slinging my quiver onto my shoulder.
I spun around, seeing him getting really close. I screamed and jumped out of the way, hearing him hit the door. I pulled up my mask and pulled back an arrow, pointing it at him.
"Please, I don't want to hurt you"
"You've already hurt me, Elsa. Can't you see?" His hoarse voice asked, standing up and looking at me "You didn't let me die, you didn't remember, you didn't love me, You killed my little sister, and most of all... You let me die slowly"
I shook my head as tears filled my eyes "No, I-I didn't have a choice... I didn't want to lose you"
"So you kept me alive only to sit and wait for over 279 Years to come back to a miserable life where I knew nothing about myself" He asked, getting too close. He pushed my bow down without a fight from me.
"How do you think I felt? I've been alive for over 300 Years alone and scared. Pitch tortured me on end until I wanted to kill myself due to either hurting so much or being so depressed that I tried countless times" I began walking towards him, making him back away "I've had to live with that my entire life and you think I'd come back to this place just to be beaten again?" He fell to the ground as I stopped "I came back here because I love you, Jack... And if I have to go through all of that again so you can get away from here, I will" I turned around, feeling the tears fall down my cheeks. I glanced up and saw my reflection in the window, I did a double take, seeing my eyes purple again.
How? But Hylia isn't with me anymore... That's not possible, I mean, it isn't like I have some other-
I sprinted to my old cell and saw here sitting on the ground still.
"Hylia!" I exclaimed, seeing her head pop up. She stood up and ran to the door.
"Elsa, I'm so happy to see you" she said as I grabbed the key from the wall and opened the door, instantly feeling her arms go around my neck.
"Come on, we have to go" I said as she let me go. I turned around to see Jack laying on the ground, knocked out.
We walked over to him and I grabbed a snowglobe, whispering into it and smashing it on the ground.
"Okay, you go ahead and I'll get him" She nodded and walked through. I kneeled down and grabbed Jacks hand, pulling him up.
"Oh my gosh your heavy" I stumbled around until I got the balance between me and him.
"You can't leave that easily, Miss. Reid"
I ran through the portal with Jack, hearing it close behind us as we fell to the ground.
"Elsa, Why didn't you tell me you were going to get them!? You could've died!" Bunny exclaimed from beside Hylia.
I sat up and pushed Jack onto his back, making sure he wouldn't be hurting when he woke up.
"Because I knew you'd react like this" I said as I pushed my hair back.

Okay, so I purposely waited until today to publish this part. Once you've read it, you might be confused so I'm going to tell you now. I've prewritten the prequel to this book, and before I began releasing chapters on that one, I thought it'd be cool to have a main book written as I released the prequel without anyone knowing. So, if you're wondering, Tell Me I'm Broken is the prequel to this book. Yes, it's done and no, I will not be releasing the entire book today. The next chapter to this will be up this Friday at 6 PM CT, it's regular time.
I love you all and I hope you're having a good day :)
Stay sweet, my little muffins!

Edit as of today (The day this is published) I have gotten my story chapter back, that includes chapter six of Tell Me I'm Broken also.
