Chapter 2: Love at first sight?

~A Week Later~

*BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!*

Huh? Ugh stupid alarm clock... It's way too early. I said in my usual groggy morning voice. Wait a second. I checked my calender. It's already Friday? Tomorrows the day! I wonder how my parents are celebrating too... I texted Izzy that I'll walk to school instead of taking the bus today. Wow. I'm in a good mood. I threw some random clothes on from my closet  and started walking down the streets. Nothing can ruin this! I spoke too soon. Before I knew it I was knocked to the ground.

V: "Ouch. Watch it buddy."

"Oh. I was kind of in a hurry.. Are you alright?"

The voice sounded australian. It was a dude too. I looked over at him. He has an awesome sense of style. He's wearing a beanie and a hoodie that says "The Janoskians" I wonder who they are. but  I admit, he's kinda cute. I realized I was staring and snapped out of it.

V: "Yeah. I'm fine."

" Sorry about that... My names Jai, Jai Brooks by the way."

V: "Victoria."

J: "Cute."  He smiled a little

God, he has the cutest smile. We were just there in silence. Not the awkward kind either. I'm surprised no one passed by us at this time. It's usually busy. I still have to go to school too. Sadly.

V: "I gotta get to school Jai."

J: "That sucks.. What's your number? I'll text you later"

He offered me his hand and I realized I was still on the floor. I got up and gave him my num.

J: "Talk to you later. Bye"

V: "Mkay, Byee."

I just met him and he has my number now. I kept replaying what he said in my head. "I'll text you later" My day had officially gotten better. He seems so sweet. I dusted my clothes off and walked off to school.

I: "Heyy gurl. What happened? Why'd you take so long? Did you get jumped? What was his name? oo when I find the man.."

Oh lord. She's obviously excited for tomorrow. A bit too much.

V: "Izzy calm down. I didn't get jumped. I'm alright. So I'm guessing you're really excited for tomorrow huh?

Maybe not jumped but almost tackled.^

I: "You have no idea Vic. My mom said yes.. I can't even."

*Bell*

I: Sorry, gotta get to class. Txt me?

V: Ok. Bye

It was kind of sad we barely had any classes together. But we still text during it, so I guess it's a little better.

The day went by fast. I'm glad it did. I went up to my room and began packing. Memories started coming in. They were too painfull so I tried ignoring them. Jai kept his promise and texted me earlier. We talked for a pretty long time. Turns out we're getting on the same plane to Melbourne tomorrow. He wants to introduce me to his brothers. Well, that escalated quickly. I don't mind though. I bet his brothers are gonna be as nice as him. It seems like we have alot in common. This trip is going to turn out better than I thought.
