I finally lost Tori and Maia for now -thank god, no more questions to be asked - So I go get some of my other books from my locker. As I get closer, that guy, what's his name again? Calvin? is at his locker with one of his friends.
He spots me and smiles. Oh boy.
I give him a blunt, straight smile with a slight nod, and turn my head to concentrate on my own locker. I grab my history, business studies and chemistry books, and I shut my locker to see Calvin leaning against his locker, smiling at me.
"Uh Hello Calvin?" I say as more of a question than an actual greeting.
His smile drops and his friend giggles from beside him.
"It's Calum" he says as he regains his cockyness.
"Good to know" I say in the nicest way possible right now, and smile before I start walking off to my next class.
Calum slowly starts walking to catch up with me and walks beside me.
"You know, I can spot a newbie from a mile, but you, you seem to be fitting right in" He says walking besides me.
"Well I'd hope that's a good thing. Being undercover and all" I mumble while rolling my eyes.
"What?" Oh shit. I blew it again
I awkwardly chuckle and pause my steps.
"I mean I'm trying to blend in and all, don't really wanna be seen and labelled as a newbie"
He seems to brush it off and signals me to keep walking again. Phew.
"So there's a party on Friday, and since you're new, it's initiation." He says seriously.
I chuckle "From who?"
He breaks out into an adorable grin before opening his arms wide and saying, "From me of course"
"I don't know Calum"
"Ohh come on Madi, even your brother's going, it'll be fun. Plus I'll be there" he says with a wink.
"You know my brother?" I say, confused. But who am I kidding, I wouldn't be surprised with the way my brother likes things.
"Yeah Thomas, we're tight"
I smirk "That's what she said"
"That's the spirit Maddie, can't wait"
"Wait bu-"
"So much fun!" He says walking away, interrupting my protest.
Well I guess it could be fun? What's the worst that could happen?
