A/n: before I begin, I would just like to say that the response to this story has becoming overwhelming (in a good way). My interest in 5sos has lessened but I still love to write, and this story had been less important to me (I had two others that I really enjoyed working on, age gap and pizza girl were of higher quality in my opinion), but the demand for this story has been more adamant than the others. Thank you for adding this story to your reading lists, voting, and commenting! I only have two other finished works, but I intend to finish this one as well. Thank you for reading! (And also, wattpad is being strange regarding the way I usually write, no capital letters, and is not letting me type that way, so my writing will change a bit.) And another note: please stop complaining about Isabella! I'm not a huge fan of her myself, but I intend to give her a lot of character development to make her stronger and cry less and complain less. Although she's annoying, she is the protagonist, so if you don't enjoy her, you don't have to read the story and complain! Thanks!

Calum was listening to the 1975 through his earbuds, Isabella could hear how loud he way playing it. Personally, robbers was her favorite song, but Calum would call her trite, and she would end up saying woman or antichrist. She knew Calum's favorite was sex, but he wouldn't admit to it. He was listening to their latest album now, she's American to be exact, which was ironic, because she is American.

Isabella started to hum along to the song, calum still off in his imagination, listening, but soon taking notice of the girl humming along. He grew to smile, there was a point in time where he really liked Isabella, and enjoyed her company, maybe even loved her, but he wasn't sure anymore. Her being here was confusing him. Calum had gone back to Australia from his year abroad to escape his mistakes, to escape his feelings of letting her down, and breaking her heart. He felt ambivalent towards her.

Isabella had closed her eyes, and was swaying along to the music, her thick hair casting shadows on the cinder block wall as she moved, and her smile broadening. It was then calum decided that he had loved her.

Isabella, after a few minutes of swaying with herself, noticed Calum watching her, and abruptly stopping, and began to stare at the floor, as she had been doing before, crossing her arms over her chest, breathing heavily. Calum's stare used to melt her, but it couldn't anymore. She sat there, ignoring him, trying her best not to catch his eyes with her own.

"Y'know Isabella", Calum said taking out one of his earbuds, "you could just dance with me."

Isabella ignored him. Calum had made her cry to many times already. His behavior was all over the place, he had bipolar disorder she knew from the orange capsules he used to take, but it had become too much for her to handle. One minute he would be happy and loving and caring, but the next he would be furious and yell and make Isabella cry. She knew that she cried very easily, and around Calum, she cried the most.

Her friend Lindsey called her selfish for breaking up with Calum. She only knew the parts about Calum's moods, not what he had said to her . "I don't love you!" She could hear his voice in her head. "You cry all of the fūcking time. Grow up!"

She ignored his comments. She just wanted to block him out, and block out the past. Her relationship had become a blur to her, she had been successful, but it was all coming back, piece by piece. even though it had become silent, the silence had grown loud, and the voices in Isabella's head would not go away.
