isabella sat slumped in the small cell of the airport. calum had locked her in, and sat tapping a pen on the desk every so often, and watched her, and she was trying to not look back as much as possible.

"would you stop?!" she asked frustratedly.

"stop what?" calum asked, tilting his head.

"tapping your pen." she ran her hands through her hair. "it's annoying. and quit watching me."

"oh darling isabella." calum chuckled, "i could never stop watching you."

"you sound like a pervert you know." she huffed, and crossed her arms over her chest.

"but isabella." calum walked to her cell. "you know that i'm anything but a pervert."

"you were an infatuation." she said through gritted teeth. "not love."

"but love." she still melted under his words. "you and i both know that that's not true, now is it isabella?"

"quit saying my name." she spat, calum taken aback by the sudden volume of her voice. "just leave me alone."

"alright," he put his hands up. "i'm sorry if i upset you."

"the fact that you're here upsets me." she shouted, a tear running down her shadowed cheek. "you as a person upset me. i hate you!"

"isabella, darling." calum whispered as confidently as he could. "please quiet down."

"you never apologized last year y'know." she whispered, her voice hoarse and weak and vulnerable. "you never tried to keep contact. you just dumped me as soon as you got home. we never even tried long distance. it was just a text! i f.ucking loved you!"

"i'm sorry." calum whispered, in silent awe of what his past had just told him. he took the key to the cell, and unlocked it.

"why are you unlocking the cell?" isabella murmured.

calum did nothing but run in and hold the love of his life in his arms. at first she tried to swat him away, but it was no use. isabella knew that she missed calum dearly. tears slipped quietly down her stained cheeks, and the occasional hiccup and gulp for air came from her mouth, but besides that all was quiet.

calum stroked the back of her head, trying to muster of the courage to apologize again, but it was no use. calum had dreamed about hugging his love in his arms for a year, and now he finally had the chance.
