Wipe those tears from them pretty brown eyes,
Keep your head up I don't want to see you cry,
Smile for me even when your heart feel torn,
Cuz only that smile can help me move along,
When you look in the Mirror what do you see,
Cuz when I look at you I see a queen,
Appear as a woman but strength of a man,
A warrior that never asked for a hand,
I remember staying up for those late night you've worked,
tried to appear your best but was feeling your worse,
And still stayed up to cook us a meal,
I always seen you as an angel cuz you couldn't be real,
Single mother of 5 and never once asked for a handout,
Had so many options but never took the easy route,
Even in our homeless stage  you still kept it together,
Tried to act like steel even though you are a feather,
even with nothing
You still always gave us the best,
And never complained because our happiness made you rest,
People never understood you some turned their back on you,
But them same motherfuckas have the nerve to council you,
Excuse the language I know how much you hate it,
But I can't help it when you listen to those phony pricks,
Never once gave you charity but have the nerve to shame you,
Sorry that I don't give a damn and you shouldn't give one too,
They can never amount to your beauty, your strength, and your wisdom,
If they ever went through what you went through let see what they'll become,
Believe me It's only gossip they have nothing to do,
And ain't never had shit so have nothing to lose,
Please stop worrying I just want to drape you  in jewels,
I know one day we'll look back at how life was so cruel,
I'll Have you pick a castle maybe somewhere near the beach,
And I never want to you to lift a finger,
Just stay being an African Queen.
