I'm sorry it took so long on the last part, but my computer broke, my phones got switched so I had to start the chapter over, and school caught up with me but i will try to make it up soon. Also I was thinking of making a sequel if this book goes good. So please comment and vote. Also I hope you like the new secret that comes out and please tell if you like the new characters.

They let us take a break and go home after the last mission and see our families. I went home and was excited but the thing was that we couldn't tell anyone about the mission on the moon because it was classified. I walked in and this is what I hear:
"Welcome home!!" From everyone in my family.
"Thanks!" I yelled back at them. A little disoriented.
"So how are you?" Mom asked me.
"Fine and so is everyone else." I replied. I didn't want to say much about the training.
"So we heard you guys are training intensely and will be ready to fight the aliens in a few years, so they let you have some more time off." Dad said.
So I guess that's the story the government told them.
"Yep. We're preparing to fight them in a few years because they're about four years away from us." I lied.
The problem with that is, they might be years away from us, but we just destroyed some bases on the moon. There could still be more bases underground or on the surface we didn't see.
"Also, the officials said that you would be here for a a whole week." Mom said excitingly.
"Yep." I said. That was the reward of the mission, an extended time home.
"Well, get settled in." My dad said.

The third day there, we all slept over at my house. We wanted to talk about the mission and the aliens.
"So the government said we would fight them in a few years?" Mason asked.
"That's what my parents said." I answered.
"Then are they telling us the whole truth if they're lying to our parents?" Emma wondered.
"They should be, we're the soldiers that'll be protecting them." Natalie said.
"That's probably why they won't tell us because the less we know about the aliens, the better." I realized.
We all had a good time and got shipped back out.

They told us that we're going to be doing more simulations battling alien infantry and going against bases like the ones on the moon since they got more intel after the battle on the moon.
But they said first that we're going to a little game-like fight against each other. It takes place in the woods outside of the academy and the ruins of old cities.
They gave us a rule sheet:
WAR GAMES RULES
1.YOU MUST ALWAYS STAY INSIDE THE GAME AREA.
2.YOU, THE PLAYER, MUST ONLY USE THE WEAPONS AT YOUR DISPOSAL, NOT OF YOUR CHOOSING. WE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH WEAPONS.
3.YOU MUST NOT ATTACK YOUR OWN TEAMMATES.
4.YOU WILL HAVE A BRACELET AND IF YOU PRESS THE BUTTON ON THE MIDDLE OF IT, WE WILL COME AND PICK YOU UP. ONLY USE IN AN EMERGENCY.
5.YOU ARE TO ELIMINATE THE OTHER TEAMS AS QUICKLY AND EFFECTIVELY AS POSSIBLE.
