"No!" Liam screamed "they're not alive!, this isn't happening!" Niall was behind him and he was terrified at the sight in front of them.

"Get them away from me!" Niall cried.

Liam stared at the skeletons as every one of their limbs flexed as they half staggered of half floated towards them. He had no idea why they were so afraid of these skeletons, I mean they could easy just run through them right?

Or there's the possibility that they could be ripped apart by their bone hands.

But their was no time to think.

"They're not alive! Just run through them!" He called out to Niall

"No!" Niall cried in fear

"Run!" Zayn screamed " Get the hell out of here!"

Liam turned around to see that the mist now was only a foot away from Zayn. They had to go- now... He had to take the chance.

taking in a deep breath and holding the torch he had in hand in front of him he ran towards the skeletons. He passed the first skeleton, then they surround him, their arms reached out for him. They clawed at his clothes and his arms, but their main goal was to get their hands on his throat.

Liam tried hitting them with the torch but it slipped from his grip, it hit the floor and it went out, the room only got darker but Zayn still had his torch with him.

It gave the skeletons a advantage as one embraced him, its grimy brown face moved towards his as if leaning in for a kiss, its jaw snapped open and close only inches away from his lips. He shrieked and shoved the skeleton away from him, it fell back and collapsed on the ground.

Then two more crusty arms slid around his neck from behind. Liam twisted and turned to get out of the skeletons grip, the one that had a hold on his neck tighten it's grip making him make a choking noise.

"g-get the hell away from me!" he yelled bringing up his arm and plowing his elbow straight into the skeletons rib cage, shattering it. he felt a wave of nausea as in the faint dim light he could feel his hands were covered with black grit, the remains of human flesh.

The bones scattered everywhere and the discarded skull rolled away somewhere in the darkness. Before any other skeletons could lay a hand on him he sprinted the rest of the way to the ladder that lead upwards. climbing up as fast as he could with bad ankle he stopped midway and looked over his shoulder, niall wasn't behind him.

He was frozen with shock and the skeleton saw that as a chance to reach out to him. Zayn saw it and ran towards niall, for being trapped between a wall and that red mist he was fast. Zayn's eyes were only focused on that skeleton, he raised his torch like baseball bat.

With one hard swing the skeleton's rib cage exploded sending shards of bone flying everywhere. After hearing chunks of the torch hit the wall everything went black. Liam could still hear the rattling of bones somewhere in the chamber.

"GO!" he heard zayn scream.

Liam didn't hesitate this time, he climbed the rest of the way up and ran for the dirt pile. He struggled to get through the dirt pile but made it through, but his struggles only forced more dirt downward nearly blocking the whole entire passage way.

He stumbled and ended up on his hands and knees trying to slow his breathing down, he felt along the ground till he found the wall and sat down properly and leaned back against it. He couldn't see anything, all the torches were gone.

His attention went back towards the pile of dirt.

"were are Niall and Zayn?" he thought, they had to have made it!

But liam couldn't see anyone, or anything. besides his fast heart beat and deep breathing the only thing he heard that made him sick to his stomach was a long blood curdling scream.

What scared him was he didn't know who screams that was....

Sorry for the be lated update, I'm to busy with my other stories at the moment. Anyway for the last few days I have been the happiest I've ever been in a long time so I thought why not update this story today 😊
But this story is coming to an end in like 4 or 5 chapters sadly 🙁
