Chapter 17

After leaving Asguard, I went back to Gotham. I haven't been there for a couple weeks. I wonder how everyone is.

I changed into black ripped jeans, a black tank top, a green army jacket, my black fingerless gloves and my trusty combat boots. I caught a quick glimpse at the clock. It was 10. Time to see the bat.

I rode my motorcycle to Wayne Manor and knocked on the door. Suprisingly, Robin answered.

He rolled his eyes. "Ugh. It's just you." I rolled my eyes and came in. Alfred speed walked into the livingroom.

"I'm sorry Master Robin, I was a little busy." Alfred said nicely.

Robin laughed. "It's fine Alfred, I can get the door once in a while." Alfred smiled, bowed, and walked away.

I flopped onto the couch. "So where is Bruce anyway?" I asked.

Robin sighed and looked out the window. "He's running late on a mission with Sage. I wish they'd hurry up."

"Sage, Sage, Sage, how I love Sage. You know what? I love tacos but am I always talking about them? No." I said and rolled my eyes.

Robin scoffed. "Yeah but you talk about that retard you're going out with all the time."

I ignored Robins comment and laughed. "I only say something about him if it relates to you, or if its a big thing and Sage is around. You talk about him more than I do!"

Robin shrugged his shoulders. "Whatever." He said in defeat.

"By the way, I'd stop picking on Peter if I were you." I said.

"Or else?" Robin asked.

"I will kick your butt, just likeI have oh so many times before." I said and crossed my arms. Sage and the bat came in the door, both in uniform suprisingly. Sage's new uniform was a green and gray strapless top, a darker green skirt, and knee high gray boots.

"And another defeat!" Sage said and collapsed onto the couch next to me. I laughed and she smiled, tired.

"Was it fun going on ypur first mission?" I asked. Sage nodded.

"It was really fun, but kind of hard. Bruce had to do some of my work. " Sage said and stood. "Well I'm going to bed. See ya tomorrow Robin. Bye Natalie."

I waved and Robin kissed her cheek.

"Gross." I said. Robin rolled his eyes as Sage walked upstairs. "Well apparently, I was too late. Bye bye weak Robin." I said and held up a peace sign with my fingers.

"Yeah whatever. Bye." Robin replied as I shut the door and returned home.
