Chapter 25

Back to Gotham again I went, apparently granddad had some news for me. I opened the door and granddad was sitting in his big wing chair, and Harley Quinn was sitting on the arm.

"Hey sweetie." HQ said.

"Hey Harley." I replied. I stood in front of granddad. "Yes?"

Granddad licked his lips and then opened his mouth. "I know the couplret of this... um.. curse. You have."

I raised an eyebrow. "Who?"

Granddad held up a picture. "Magneto. Is his name." He paused to throw the photo across the room. "And if you kill him, your curse dies."

I smiled. "How'd you get all of this information?" I asked.

"I have my special ways." He said. We both laughed.

"Thanks granddad for telling me. See you later then I guess." I said.

"Bye honey." HQ said and waved.

I walked out and this time I decided to go see Sage. Might as well stay in Gotham until I have to leave again.

I pressed the button on the fence.

"Who is this?" I heard Alfred's voice say.

"Hey Alfred, it's Natalie." I said.

"Miss Natalie! Come in." He said as the gates opened. I drove in, parked my motorcycle and walked inside.

"Natalie, nice to see you as always." Alfred said and gave me a hug.

"Same here." I replied. "Is Sage home?" I asked. Almost like it was a cue, Robin came down the stairs.

"Hey is Sage back yet?" He asked.

"No Sir." Alfred said.

"Where is she now?" I asked.

Robin crossed his arms. "I dont know. Why are you here?"

I sighed and sat on a couch. "Because I can be." Robin raised his eyes, wanting my real answer. "I want to hang out with her, I've barely seen her since she entered Robin Land."

Robin rolled his eyes. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Alfred leave, probably not wanting to watch us fight.

"You're so weird." Robin said.

"Thanks. I am weird aren't I? But all clowns are weird to normal people like you so." I replied. Robin looked over at me and I just smirked. He was annoyed. "I remember Sage used to hate you."

Robin went stiff. "No she didnt."

"Sure she did!" I snapped back. "Stupid little sidekick trying beat up her auntie. She used to tell me how one day she'd get you back."

Sage walked through the door right after I finished.

"Oh hey Sage." I said and smiled. I stuck my tongue out at Robin and he snickered.

"Hey whats up?" She said.

"Oh, you know," I said and paused. "Just having a nice little chat wih my good friend Robin here." I stood up. "Nice talk I guess but now I have to go back to S.H.E.I.L.D. See ya Sage!"

"Bye!" She said and air hugged me. If she hugged me for real, one of my weapons could be activated.

"Bye bye stupid Robin." I said and left to go to S.H.E.I.L.D.
