Joshua's POV:

Melissa, as always, looked perfect. Her orange hair shimmering in the light, her sunkissed skin on almost full display in her favourite black bikini. She knew I liked watching her, but she kept telling me to "Stop chasing" her. I wasn't chasing her-I was just watching her. It's not like I wanted to hurt her or anything.

I loved her, and despite the fact that I told her I did, she didn't believe me. She was the only real thing to me in life, and I had to get her somehow. I kept watch over her as she climbed out of the pool, and said words I couldn't hear to Samantha and Ryan, her boyfriend. Ryan was a lucky man to get Samantha, but she was a bronze prize compared to Melissa's platinum body. How I wished I could get closer, just to hear her voice.

Melissa's POV:

I could feel eyes trained on me as I got out of the lake. "Guys, do you feel like someone's watching us?" I asked the other two, who replied in the negative. They were so happy to be here, together, that I didn't spoil the fun and mention it again.

"Hey girls, how about we try out the resort's new sauna?" Ryan asked, he loved saunas-for reasons neither of us could fathom.

"I don't know babe." Samantha told him jokingly "That thing can go up to 130° celsius. You have any idea what would happen to us if we got exposed to that kind of heat?"

"Don't be such a killjoy." I told her "As if we'd be stupid enough to put the thermostat up that high! besides, that lake is pretty damn cold."

"You're right, sorry Mel." She replied, as we all climbed into the massive shack, unsuspecting of the danger we were in.
