[Chapter 22: My One Darkening Eye?]
(Since the last part messed up the last 200 words I had typed. Instead of typing them back, I'll just add Part two. Wattpad. Why you do dis?! T^T)
Lauren's pov~
"Hang on guys. I'll be right back." I said. Getting up, I turned towards the bathrooms, and began to walk there. After some time I walked out of the stalls and went to wash my hands. Looking up into the mirror I noticed something VERY Different. "Wh-What?" I said, Gazing at my right eye. It was pitch black. "What happened?!" I mumbled, continuing to stare into the mirror. "Does this have something to do with me being demonic??" I questioned, Then sighed. "Oh well. I just need to cover it up for the time being." I said, Taking my hair down. I took a part of my long bangs and pulled them of my right eye. Pulling out a hair clip, I clipped it right in place.
"Th-there. No one can see it." I said, Pulling the rest of my hair up. Stepping away from the mirror and out of the bathroom, I walked back to my table. Seeing Seth a little bit mad, I figured something was wrong. "What's up?" I asked, Setting my hands on the table and leaning over it. "Nothing much. Vincent got mad at Seth and well, This." Mary said, Explaining what went down, And pointing at the two boys. They both had their arms crossed, and backs facing each other. "Really? That's it?" I mumbled, turning my backs to the three.
'Well, If We stay here any longer... Vincent may try to punch someone. That Someone being Seth.' My thoughts Started. 'Maybe it's time to go home?' They continued. Snapping my fingers, I turned back to the three, Saying. "Seth, Mary. Do you two think it's time to leave?" I said, Letting them decide. "Please." Seth said. "Uh, Sure." Mary said. "Alright! Vincent, We Shall talk later!!" I said, Walking away from the table, With Seth and Mary following behind me.
Walking out to the car, I turned to Mary, And asked. "So Mary, Do you need me to drop you back off at the Pizzeria?" Waiting for a response, I unlocked the car door and began to get in. "Well, yeah! I need to get my car. It's got my stuff in it." Mary said getting in too. Same with Seth who just seemed to be lost in thought.
"Alright, I can do that." I said, starting the car.
[Time Skip]
After Dropping off Mary, Me and Seth made it back home, and to my surprize, Seth just sat on the couch. 'Is he waiting for me?' I questioned. Walking over to the couch, I sat down next to him.
"What's up? Something on you're mind?" I asked, turning to him. "Yeah, What's with your hair?" Seth hair, reaching out his hand to try and mess with it. "St-Stop that!" I said moving his hand back down onto the couch. "My hair is fine!" I say, glaring at Seth. "Heh, then is it covering your right eye?" Seth asked, once again trying to move it out of the way. "Quit it!" I said, this time forcefully moving his away. "But I'm curious now." Seth said yet again moving my hair. Well at least trying. "Uh No. Leave it alone." I said, Clawing his hands away.
"Then you leave me no choice." Seth said, Grabbing my arms and pinning them up above my head on the couch. "Now what's this for?" I asked, looking up at him. "So I can see what you're hiding from me." Seth said, holding both my hands down by my wrists with one of his hands. And with the other, He moved my hair out of face, revealing my Demonic eye.
"Lauren, I'm gonna ask you one question. What. HAPPENED?!" Seth said, letting go of my hands. "Well," I trailed off sitting up. "You remember how I'm demonic?" I asked. Getting 'Mhm' as a response. "Well, I think this is what happens to someone with Demonic syndrome. They eye gos black with a white pupil." I said, just bring up one of my theories.
"I just I can kind of agree with that?? Well, I Don't know." Seth then sighed. "How did you get that on the first place?!" Seth asked. "Well, Uh- Let me think" I say, beginning to think. "I got it! It was Vincent. He gave it to me." I said. Feeling Seth tense up, I looked at him asked. "Seth? Something wrong?"
"Yes, And I will kill him!!" Seth said. "Kill who? Who is this 'him' you speak of?" I asked. "Vincent Lauren!! Vincent!!" Seth said. "Oooooh. That's my job!! I do the killing!!" I said. "Yes. Yes you do. That's why you're gonna help me." Seth said, looking back at me. "With world domination?" I asked. "Yes! Wait- NO!!" Seth said, causing me to break out in laughter.
