Chapter 29.

[Chapter 29: I Did It Again, Didn't I?]

Lauren's POV~

As I laid in bed for the past I don't know how long I just got up and stretched out my arms, looking out my window seeing the night sky. 'Peaceful night... Why can't I sleep like the rest of the world?' I questioned in y head as I swung my feet out of my covers, letting my legs meet the cool night air. I got out of bed and walked into my bathroom, stepping over to my sink.

I slashed some water on my face, trying to keep myself from drifting into sleepy state of mine, and looked into the mirror. Seeing my one brown one, and my Demonic eye. I also had dark rings under my eyes, from lack of sleep I suppose. Either way... All I knew was I needed sleep badly. I didn't get any tonight. Or even last night. I sighed looking deep into my Demonic eye pupil. It flashed a blood red, then I turned around meeting... Another Shadow?

The Shadow was a dark purple and looked almost human. But. It didn't have legs. The Shadow looked at me with mischievous lingering in it's eyes, and it Spoke in a mischievous feminine voice. "Human~ Or should I say... Lauren~ it's quite the pleasure to meet you in person."

I just gazed in shook leaning against the sink completely petrified, just SEEING This Shadow.

She took note of my scared feeling and nodded grinning showing her glowing fanged teeth. "My deary~ Why are you so afraid of someone who has been with you since the beginning? That's just rude my dear~" She spoke crossing her arms and shaking her head in a disappointed manner. "Wh-who are y-you? Wh-what are you?" I said stuttering trying to hold myself up better. "My dear~ I am Sidney. What am I? Why the Demonic Phantom that has been in your head. Sucking out all of your Sanity and your well being. You have quite the temper my dear~" She said floating closer and tapping me on the nose, sending a shiver down my spine. "Y-you the one who d-did this to me?! Out of all the people you could 'Infect' or 'possess' You chose me?! WHY?!" I lashed put standing up straight, charging at the 'Sidney'

"Foolish Human!" Before I could even get to her, something grabbed my wrist, pulling me back and pinning me against the wall. I looked at what was holding me and realized they were Black Vines. Not thin ones either. "You dare use the powers that I GAVE YOU?! You humans really are foolish! And now. I will take the last of your family~" She said before disappearing with a snap. But... That just left me there. Pinned to my bathroom wall held by Black Vines.

Suddenly, my eyes went black as I stared into the mirror in front of me. 'No no no no no no NO!! SHE ISN'T GONNA KILL SOME ONE IS SHE?!' My mind roared as I saw my pupils go Blood red, and the bandages from around my arms fall off exposing my red Dragon-like Scale covered arms. "I... Need to see BLOOD!" I said as the black vines disappeared leting me go.

I walked out of my bathroom and out of my apartment, walking past my cat "Mom~ Dad~ You're little girl is coming over to visit~" I playfully song in a demonic voice, and began running, at an inhuman speed.

As soon as I got to my parents house, I stopped and walked to the door, opening it and shutting back quietly. I walked into my parents my room not making a sound, not wanting to wake them up. I picked up my dad's glock and took it off safety and pointed the gun it my dads head pulling the trigger and shooting him twice in the head.

My mom woke up from the gun shoot and looked at me with pure shook and fear. "Hello Mother~ why don't you ho back to sleep. FoReVeR!" I said pointing the gun her.

Her face went pale and she stuttered saying. "L-Lauren A-Ashley Gassaway. Put the gun down. N-now!" I shook my head no, and grinned an insane grin. "Night Night~" I had sung shooting her twice in the head then putting my father's glock down on the bed. I had looked down at my hands, seeing them covered by my red Dragon-like Scales, so not even the police could even trace the DNA back to me. They'd just get dragon's DNA.

I glaced up at my work, two dead bodies, Both belonging to my parents, then as I heard police sirens going coming closer I leeped out of one of the windows taking off running once again in an inhuman speed.

As soon as I made it back to my apartment I collapsed on my bed, and covered my head with my hands, still covered by the Scales. "I did it again, didn't I?" I said in a shaky voice.

"No~ WE Did it." That voice... Not again. I turned around before facing Sidney. The looked a little more human this time. Having legs that faded together near the bottom. "Wh-why?! Why them!! They did nothing!!" I cried out with tears spilling down my face as I shakingly propped myself up a little. "But~" She paused before being in closed in a dark purpleish ink.

I moved back on my bed, laying on my pillows. The inky dome that she was in cased by faded revealing her in a more human colored form.

She had long brown her that near the ends faded into black, that flowed to the left at all times, and was held by a hair tie at the end. VERY Pale skin, red glowing eyes and the same red scales that I had.

She wore a darker green hoodie that me, with black jeans and a pair of dark reds converses.

She grinned showing her K9 like fangs, And looked at me with her eyelids hanging low in a mischievous manner, Saying. "Like it~? Oh deary, I know you do~" As I stared at her with pure shook and dread, She took note and move closer to me, slightly floating off the ground towards me. "What's the matter love~? Scared?" She asked inching closer.

One thing I had noticed was the weird scar she had one going from below her right eyebrow to down half to her cheek. She also had another scar going down from her left eye and reaching almost half way down her cheek.

"N-no! Y-you just look really uh... Pretty? Yeah! Pretty!" I said nervously chuckling, as she backed always from my face as our noses were touching.

"Well, thank you I guess~ Your not bad yourself. But... This isn't my true form. The more deaths that you, I mean we cause. The closer I am to my true form~" She said looking back to me with her eyes completely black and black tears dripping down her face. I gulped nodded quickly not wanting to argue with her. Or worse... "Good. Carrier on what you were doing... In the mean time wait til we meet again~" Sidney said before fading away.

"Y-yeah... Th-that..."
