Sophia Bush's POV
Today is the first day of training for Chicago PD, I am really nervous. I could never be a cop, what makes people think I can act as one?! Ugh, why am I thinking like this?! I'll be fine...
I see the producer and walk up to him hoping he will show me the way, and that he does. We walk into a massive room with what looks like hundreds of stations working different things. If I didn't think I was nervous before I definitely am now.
The producer screams, "THIS IS SOPHIA BUSH, SHE IS CASTED AS ERIN LINDSAY SO PLEASE MAKE HER FEEL WELCOME!"
Everyone whom had previously been talking amongst themselves, were now rushing over to talk to me. I must have introduced myself a million times, but we were all acquainted now, so that would be the first step and I got past it.
The producer came back in and we all gathered close to avoid the screaming again. He gestures toward a handsome man with blonde hair and strong muscles. "This is Jesse Spencer," he moves to the left to allow all of us a better view. "This is Taylor Kinney," gesturing to his other side. "They are the main characters of Chicago Fire. They will be training with us, Monica Raymund should be joining us soon. Alright boys, take the spotlight" he gestures forward and they both take the cue.
Jesse looks to Taylor as if for approval to speak first; he steps forward and says, "Obviously, I'm Jesse Spencer, I play Lt. Matt Casey and I can tell you right now this training will not be easy...at all" gesturing to Taylor as he finishes looking a bit rattled, like he saw a bear or something. I'd like to know what he was thinking about because he looked very nervous after that abrupt ending. It was weird, but I shift my attention to Taylor as he moves to a different position.
A little confused now as well, Taylor says, "Yeah this place is hell, but it is also really helpful so just pay attention and allow the experts to help you" he ends with a giggle, turning around quickly remembering something... "oh, and I play Kelly Severide on Chicago fire."
Nice guys, maybe I will be able to do some scenes with them when the shows crossover. That would be fun.
----------
We had been training for hours and I was realizing that I was not in shape at all. It was depressing actually. It was also very interesting to have real cops teaching you what to do and how to hold a gun. Having the other guys there was making me work a little bit harder because I wanted to show everyone I knew what I was doing, so I was trying to show off a little bit I guess. Plus, he was extremely attractive. Ugh! What is with me and costars.
After our training session we all got our stuff and got ready to leave. I was headed to my car and Jesse Lee Soffer runs up behind me trying to catch up with me. Slightly out of breath and with a little glisten of sweat on his forehead he turned to face me and said, "wow you're a fast walker," which got a little laugh out of me. He smiled a perfect smile and looked down at his feet.
"Did you need something?" I questioned, wondering what was about to happen because I could not read him at all.
"I..." he smiled and laughed "I was wondering if you would want a little bit of extra training time."
"Right now?"
"Oh, um no." he paused as if he was surprised by my response, it seemed like I made him nervous... nonetheless he continued, "Maybe Friday? It'll give you 3 days to recover from this session" he finished as he looked up with a sincere smile.
His smile made me smile, and for some reason I felt like I needed to avoid his eyes. "Um, yes. I'd love that..."
"Okay great, so I will see you here on Friday at 6?"
"Sounds good to me" I say with an innocent grin.
We switch places and walk in opposite directions.
----------
Trying to go to sleep that night was impossible. All I could think about was his smile, his muscles, and the fact that I was going to be with him for hours alone of Friday. I have never felt this way before. Every time I think about him, I feel all tingly and happy.

Jesse Lee Soffer's POV
I am dreading this training session that the producer is making us go to. I do enough training by myself and now I have to do even more for hours.
I have been working with different cops and training for a while in preparation for this role, I am excited to have it, but I don't want to go through all the basic stuff again.
After hearing this girl's introduction I figured I should introduce myself, and then the fire guys came, I don't understand their purpose here, but whatever.
All I can think about is that girl Sophia, she is beautiful and everything she was doing all night was mesmerizing. I am contemplating asking her out after training. Maybe she'll say yes, who knows. I just want to get to know her.
----------
Once it was over and I saw her walking away I needed to ask her out on a date or something, because I need to know her.
I am running after her, and I feel like such an idiot. I stop running...what if she says no...I continue running, because there is only one way to find out.
Turning to face her as I catch up to her, I am embarrassed by how much I am sweating so I try to hide it behind a smile. Before I can actually think this through, I started talking. "Wow, you're a fast walker," and I immediately hate myself, that was a horrible way of starting the conversation.
She smiles, which makes me feel a little better, but then she asks, "did you need something?"
I accidentally let out a childish laugh because I could not believe what I was doing. "I was wondering if you would want a little bit of extra training time."
"Right now?"
The moment she said that I knew this was a mistake. That was a stupid proposal, why would she want extra time, and what makes me such a special trainer. I'm an idiot, but I have to explain what I meant, so I stutter..."Oh, um no. Maybe Friday? It'll give you 3 days to recover from this session" he finished as he looked up with a nervous smile.
She avoided my eyes, that could not be a good sign, but to my surprise she said that she would love that! It's a miracle.
Trying to hide my excitement I simply say, "Okay great, so I will see you here on Friday at 6?"
"Sounds good to me" she says with the sweetest smile I have ever seen. Her hair was falling perfectly around her face and I wondered how she was so beautiful, I mean she just did hardcore workouts for 3 hours, how does she look beautiful?! She's an angel and I can't mess this up
We switch places and walk in opposite directions.
----------
I couldn't sleep at all that night. I am so glad that she said yes, as nervous as I was I really wanted to go on a date with her. She's exceptional. Now I can see her in those yoga pants again...and her of course because she is perfect inside and out.
