Perfect, Inside and Out

First day on the Job

Sophia Bush's POV

Waking up in my own bed, glad to see that I hadn't spent another night in Jesse's apartment. Especially today, because today is the first day of work. So, let the awkward times begin....

Walking into the big arena that we were filming in was surreal. I have never shot in such a large place with so many different moving parts. Before I could take it all in, someone grabbed my arm and forcefully placed me in a chair in front of a mirror. There seemed to be a hundred people working on a different part of me at one time. It was overwhelming to say the least. 

Of course, my first scene was with Jesse, but it was not nearly as awkward as I thought it would be. We did some of our stunts and worked together well. I was kind of sad, it almost seemed like he wasn't  into to me the whole day! I was starting to think that we were over because the show starts to shoot, although that may have been smart, that's not what I want because I haven't felt this way about anyone in a long time. 

We went the whole 13 hour day without saying anything to each other than work related things. I can't deny it, I was a little disappointed. On the other hand, I have dated costars (even married one) and none of them really worked out or ended well. So what makes me think this is any different? The relationship always gets out and the fans either hate us together or want us together so badly I start to feel trapped. I just can't win.

Walking out to my car I felt defeated, until I heard those familiar footsteps chasing after me. 

"Soph! Wait up" I heard from behind me. I turned around and immediately felt his lips on mine. He ran right into me and put his hand on my neck keeping my head right where it needed to be to make the kiss perfect. He definitely succeeded. The kiss was perfectly perfect. Pulling away he smiles at my smile, which only makes me smile more. 

"I thought..." He cuts me off with another amazing kiss. 

"You thought wrong." This made me smile more than I was smiling before. He knows exactly what to say and do to melt my heart, and he does it every time I see him. Throwing his arm around my neck and walking me to my car in silence he has this smirk on his face that makes me feel special because he feels like he won something. I'm a prize to him, and I love him for that. I do....I think I love him.....but I can't say that it is way way way too soon for that. Plus, I want him to say it first. ...........Maybe................

Jesse Lee Soffer's POV 

I'm on my way to Sophia's house, and I am really glad that she still wants to date even though we are working together. Today I tried to show her that I can still be professional at work so that she would be okay with continuing to date me and work with me. I hope she still likes me, but it seemed that she does because I put a pretty big smile on her face after that kiss. It was a pretty perfect kiss, I was very proud of myself for the movie-like kiss. I want to make this date even better than the last one, which will be quite a challenge...but she's worth it.
