Hey Guys! I'm so sorry for this update taking so long. Things have been crazy, but I hope this cute  and sorta long chapter makes up for it :)

Jesse Lee Soffer's POV

I try and calm my nerves with an ice cold beer at molly's, but as I walk in the door I decide against that. Being drunk during this is not an option.

As I walk up to Soph's apartment, and I am hoping that her smile will ease my nerves. At the opening of her door in her response to my knock, my hope is proven true because immediately after I saw her smile I smiled back.

"So, my handsome boyfriend, are you ready to go?" She asks with the most innocent smile I have ever seen.

"Yes," I answered calmly as I took her hand and led her out the door.

We held hands as we walked to the car, and I could feel my hands sweating because I was becoming more and more nervous as time went on. We approached the car, and I ran into her as she stepped directly in front of me.

"You're not ready to go, are you?" She said, bracing herself for the answer.

"Look," I began. "Parents don't like me, and I really want yours to like me. What if they don't like me, that would be bad, very, very, very bad!" I realize that I am beginning to panic, so I throw my hands over my head and start to pace in small circles in front of Sophia. We have been dating for about 4 months now, and I really would love her parents to love me.

In between my pacing and quick thoughts I can hear Soph's words trying to calm me down. Then, I'm quickly stopped by gentle hands and warm lips on mine. My hands travel to her neck, and move down to her lower back. Her hands stay on my side until she reaches up smiling through the kiss, and wraps her arms around my neck. I smile back, and I lift her feet off the ground. Sitting her on the hood of the car we make out for another few minutes until she pulls away leaving me wanting more. She smiles at her success in distracting me, and gets in the car. Trying to relax my new thoughts, I lean on the hood of the car and smile to myself at this amazing woman I am dating. Getting in the car, I feel confident and if I am being honest, I could truly be in love with her....

~1 hour later~

"What are you up to?" I hear from behind me, and when hands wrap around my waist and when I feel a small kiss on my neck, I know that it was Sophia asking.

"Just looking outside. I can't believe you grew up here! It's beautiful, and this house is so cozy. This is the kind of house I want to live in eventually." And I immediately regret that sentence. We've been dating for 4 months! We can't be talking about houses and shit like that! I don't want to scare her off so I retaliate. "Not that we will be getting a house any time soon, so that doesn't matter, so I'm going to stop talking now." I look down at my feet as I slow my speech.

I feel my body move as she laughs at my awkwardness. I quickly turn around so that we are facing each other, and I am much taller than her so I kissed her forehead and stayed there for as long as I could.

Breaking the silent, I hear sophia's mom call from the other room, "DINNER!" I smile at Sophia, I take her hand, and we walk into the dining room to a huge meal prepared for the whole family.

~1 hour later~

"Dinner was great, thank you so much for having me." I say as we exit the front door.

Getting back in the car, I took a breath and looked at Sophia. "So, how did that go?"

She looks down and smiles. "It went great babe, you were great. They loved you."

"Wow," I say as I let out a sigh of relief, "I was really worried."

Driving home, we listened to Sophia's music and pulled into a parking spot closest to the door so we didn't have to travel far in the cold.

I looked over about to ask her something, and I hadn't even realized that she fell asleep. I watched her flawless face, eyes closed, and her mouth in a small grin. She was beautiful and after tonight I was sure that I loved her.

I turned off the car and got out quietly. I opened her door and picked her up. She stirred for a second, just long enough to snuggle her nose into my collarbone and wrap her arms around my neck. I carried her all the way inside, and laid her on the bed under the covers. I watched her calm face as I turned the bedside lamp off. I was walking away to sleep on the couch for the night, but she whispered "Jesse." I could barely hear it, but I turned around. I saw her smile in the moonlight and she whispered again, "Stay with me." I smiled and went to the other side of the bed.

Climbing underneath the covers, I have never been this happy before. Crawling into bed with the woman that I love, It's perfect. I snuggle up behind her and hold her body close to mine.

That may have been the best night sleep I have ever gotten. I really do love her.
