Chapter Seventeen

"Hey Amber!"

Amber heard her name being called followed by a tap on the shoulder, making her turn around.

To her relief, it was Zara who was standing before her, making Amber curve her lips into a smile.

"Where were you?! I've been looking all over for you."

"Oh you know, upstairs." A deep male voice spoke which made Amber realize that Zara wasn't the only one she was facing, Harry was standing right beside her too.

Amber raised an eye brow, looking from Zara then at Harry, "With you?"

Zara gave out a small laugh, as Harry smirked before looking down at Zara, "I'll be at the counter where the drinks are if you need me."

Zara nodded as Harry glanced at the two ladies before turning around and disappearing among the crowd.

Amber's mouthed formed an 'O' as she gaped at the direction where Harry left, "Hey punk, where do you think you're going, I asked you a question you know-"

She got cut off when Zara grabbed her by the arm and gave Amber a 'really?' look.

"No seriously!"

"We were up there, alright."

"And then what."

"And talked."

"Talked?"

"Talked." Zara replied casually as Amber stood there with a questionable look on her face, making Zara roll her eyes but then smirk.

"You know someone's staring at you."

"What? Where?" Amber replied dumbly as she stood there. Who could possibly be having the time to stare at her?

"Turn around." Zara giggled as Amber turned around, instantly blushing when her eyes met Alex's green ones.

Indeed, he had been keeping his eyes on her for quite a while now, obvious enough for Zara to notice.

"Someone has an admirer, huh Amber?" Zara spoke in a girly voice as she poked Amber with her elbow, making Amber give out a small shy laugh.

"I came with him today."

Zara stopped moving and stared at her, her face expressionless for a second before widening her eyes, "You.. WHAT! AND YOU KEPT THIS FROM M-"

"Stop that hole on your face!" Amber yelped as she grabbed on to Zara to keep her quiet, Zara's expression going from a surprised look to an excited one.

"What on earth are you doing here Amber, go there! He obviously wants you to be with him right now!"

"But.. but," Amber's face turned pink as she looked back at Alex, who nodded then laughed at what one of his's mates said but not before glancing back at Amber, their eyes meeting for a second. " Zara.. he's with his friends."

"Go before I push your ass towards him." Zara whispered before pushing Amber ahead, making her stumble a few steps forward before looking up to see she was right infront of Alex.

Alex stopped talking to look at Amber, his eyes brightening up a bit. His friends turned around to look at her too, giving her a blank stare.

Well that was awkward.

She pushed her hair behind her ear, standing straighter and giving Alex a small smile, making Alex motion her to stand beside him as he looked at his mates.

"This is Amber."

"That's it?" One said who had dark hair, a bit short, fair and with freckles on his face. "This is the first time you're introducing a girl to us, man."
