As soon as Grace got out of the building, she ran towards her car and got in. She drove fast, finding it hard to be under the speed limit but she managed somehow.
Pulling up on her driveway, she let out a sigh and tried to calm herself down. 'Breath in, breath out' she thought to herself. Shivering, she looked at down at her wrists to see big red bruises she got from Zayn's hands.
'I don't think I can tell Zara and Amber about this,' she thought. She just couldn't bring herself to talk about it but she knew her friends were going to ask for an explanation when they see her wrists. Quickly, she started looking for the sweater that she always kept in her car's trunk during the autumn. Putting that on, she took a last look in the car's mirror to check if she looked anything out of the ordinary and proceeded to her house, when she entered the room, a heated argument was going on."No Amber! Take that back! Take that back right now! No one insults my favourite singer, NO ONE," shouted Zara, both her and Amber already in their pajamas they kept as spares in Graces house, making themselves comfortable.
"But their music ain't all that special to begin with," said Amber, rolling her eyes at Zara, "Like,
come on, Ed Sheeran is way better.""Okay, I agree he's good but Adam Levine is still my favourite and nobody can change my mind on that," replied Zara.
Grace just let out a chuckle and plopped on her bed. She was already starting to forget the incident, and then immediately Amber jumped on her and hugging her she said, "Gracey! Why are you quiet? Is anything wrong? WAS THERE A GHOST IN THE BUILDING?! I always knew that place was haunted oh my god-"
"Oh Amber, let her talk first," cut off Zara, chuckling to herself. Grace let out a grin, Amber's bubbly personality could cheer anyone up.
"Nothing's wrong idiots," she replied, smiling, "I just can't wait to see what you two have planned for the movie!" And with that everyone got engrossed with it and the incident slipped out of Grace's mind completely.--the next day--
As soon as the sun begun to rise, Amber hit the road for a 5 km jogging session. Being a fat teenager in high school freshman year wasn't easy. People had been making fun of her since middle school but she was determined to make her body as healthy as she could. She didn't want to become skinny, her body shape and type won't ever allow her to look skinny. The type of body she has, anything she eats turns into fat and no matter how healthy she tries to eat, she always looks unhealthy. But this year, she was determined to make herself look and feel healthy and gain confidence, enough to catch Louis's attention.
However, as soon as she entered school, she was able to catch his attention without even doing anything. But for all the wrong reasons.
Her eyes immediately searching for the messy brown haired boy she adored so much.
Before she could do anything else, she fell flat on her back, her books scattering every where on the floor, making her look like a mess. Why? Just because her shoe lace was untied.
Amber's eyes slowly gazed up, her breathing quickened when she saw every one in the hall way staring down at her, the whole room was quiet.
She bit her lip as she tried not to cry, slowly leaning forward to pick up her books when she heard footsteps coming near her.
"Oh look!" A guy shouted, his voice loud enough for every one to hear, making Amber immediately stumble up nervously. She wasn't prepared to go through this. No. She wasn't ready. Not again.
"Isn't this like the 5th time you fell this week?" Jason smirked as another one of his 'pals' came and put his elbow on his shoulder, laughing at Amber too. "What's wrong honey, your own body too heavy for you to carry?"
