"What! Did he actually... You know?" Harrison asked frightened of the answer, not for Charlie's sake though but for his.
"No, but he tried to and the stuff that he did was equally as bad."
"Yes but you still killed his wife." I added hoping that he would feel sorry for her eventually.
"Yes I did and I said I wasn't proud of that." Charlie said obviously waking up from his little nightmare in his head.
"Anyway, Paul, you better have fun pulling an all nighter on your own. There's some more DVDs by the TV if you want them later." I told him, deciding that everyone had, had enough Charlie talk, and that included myself.
"Okay everyone, goodnight" Paul said while walking towards his makeshift bed.
"Good night Paul" everyone chorused back
"Good luck Paul" Mark added before he headed towards his sleeping bag.
Soon Paul was watching everyone sleep, so I decided to have a little chat with him. "Hello, Paul, shall we talk about your death?"
"My what?" He whispered trying not to wake anyone up.
"Your death" I repeated easily. Or should I specify which death I'm talking about?"
"Yes, would you mind elaborating which death you're talking about?"
"Shall we start with your first death?"
"Sure, what do you want to know about it?"
"Let's start with why, why did you have to fake your death?"
"I faked my death because my daughter had found out about the real me. The druggie me. The old me that I'm not proud of."
"The murderous you."
"No... Well yes but how did you find out about that?"
"I have my ways Paul, I have my ways."
"Who told you?"
"Shall we say that I'm the woman who investigated the murder that you paid thousands to keep a secret."
"You're... You're a..."
"Woman, yes, is it really that hard to imagine a woman running your life for nearly a week now."
"Now you say it... No it's not but..."
"But what Paul?"
"But... You shouldn't be doing this... You're a cop."
"Doing what, saving the world from evil monsters like you? And I'm not a cop anymore, I used to be a cop." Paul looked like he had, had enough and quite frankly so had I but I needed to tell him about his second death first. "So Paul, would you like to know about your second and final death?"
"Not really, no."
"I'll take that as a yes. Paul your death will occur tomorrow. One of the people in here will kill you, they will stab you three times: once in your thigh, once on your head and once in your heart. Please keep this information to yourself and looked horrified when the time comes, not that you'll need to act. Please help yourself to the DVDs next to the TV. Do not fall asleep or you will face the consequences. I don't think I have to explain those to you. Make the most of your final night alive Paul."
For the rest of the night he watched many Marvel films ranging from Captain America the winter soldier to Guardians of the Galaxy. Everyone else started stirring about half past seven in the morning; Harrison and Charlie walked straight over to Paul to make sure that he was okay. "Yeah I'm fine guys. You don't need to worry about me."
