Chapter 14: Unexpected

Tylers  pov

 I woke up in a strange warehouse not too far from where the fire had been. I knew this because well, I was a vampire and i could obviously smell. My eyes opened , it was blurry. It was dark and i saw a strange figure standing in front of me with a cane.  It was a human that looked right about the age 19. At that moment i felt like Audree when she first woke up in my basement. “Hey let me go!” I said to the unfamiliar face staring at me. He looked like he was out to kill. “Never! Vampires are dangerous  there is no way I will allow you to live! He practically yelled. “I need to save those people in that cottage that was on fire” I spat back at him. “Wait what?” he said while staring at me in confusion. “ You good ” he said. Looking really shocked. “ Yes, i replied as politely as I could he did tie me up and knock me out if i remember correctly. I thought all vampires were evil, he said. “ Well you thought wrong” I  explained to him.

“I will tell you what i know” he said to me. My name is Dylan.“I was 15 when it happened”. He stated. “ My family lived  in a small cottage similar to the one that burnt down now. Well, we were having a family dinner, when we were attacked by non other than vampires. None of my family members made it out alive , at least thats what i thought i saw no one behind me so I just kept running never looking back. I’m the last one left. He stated. I could see the sadness in his face. But strongly he kept going. Ever since I was 15 ive been hunting vampires. What they did to my family was plain heartless. I’m a vampire hunter  I kill a vampire if i see one but before I do I seek out information. Like if they know the vampires who killed my family. All of the vampires ive killed and came across were evil. You the first good vampire i met throughout my 4 years of being a hunter.

After Dylan ended  his story I figured now would be the time to tell him what was going on. “Hey Dylan I’m a hunter too!’ i screamed. “ You see i’m a different kind of vampire I’m nothing like the rest.” He looked confused. “ Wait so you telling me that you a vampire that hunts other vampires”? he asked. “ Yes” i replied to him. I also filled him in on he situation I was facing.
