"Gerard? You okay?" Patrick asked as Gee walked into homeroom, sniffling.

Frank walked in a minute after Gerard. He looked over at Pat and noticed that he was comforting Gerard and he sighed. He didn't mean to use Gerard.

Gee didn't notice Frank walk in, but Patrick did. Gerard had already told Patrick how Frank kissed him and basically used him. Patrick glared at Frank from across the room and went back to holding Gerard.

Frank scoffed and walked over to his assigned seat, which happened to be right behind Patrick. He huffed and sat down.

Gerard saw Frank and began to sniffle again.

"Wh-Why did you do that...?" He asked Frank in a nasal-y voice.

Frank sighed again. "I told you, it wasn't like that."

"Then what was it like, Frank?" He asked, tears forming again.

"I-I don't know!"

"See! You don't know! You don't just kiss someone you just met to get your girlfriend to break up with you!"

"Maybe I wanted to! I don't know!" Frank shouted, rubbing his temples.

Gerard bit his lip. He absolutely hated shouting, but what he shouted made a difference.

"You wanted to...?"

"I don't know!"

Now Gerard was sad again. He was hoping he'd say yes, this time quieter, but he didn't. He yelled again.

"Wh-Whatever Frank..."

He moved and went to sit in the back of the room, in the last seat. He buried his face in his arms.

Frank rubbed his face with both of his hands in exasperation. "I-I'm not gay, I'm not, I didn't want him to do that..." He mumbled.

"I don't even care if you are or aren't gay, Frank. What you did to Gerard was really bad. Look at him! He thinks its all his fault." Patrick exclaimed.

"I understand, it's not his fault, and okay, I did partly kiss him because of how fucking annoying Jamia was being, but he kissed my cheek and I wanted to see how his lips felt, ugh, I don't fucking know what's wrong with me."

"Nothings wrong with you Frank, but he also did trust you. Thats why he came back to you after Brendon and Ryan teased him. And you just destroyed all of the trust that was formed."

"Shit..." Frank muttered, rubbing the back of his neck.

"You'll have to regain it if you ever want to be friends with him again," Patrick explained, staring at Frank.

Frank closed his eyes and exhaled a breath he didn't know he was holding. "Should I go talk to him now?"

"If you want to, but just know what to say so you don't fuck up."

"I'll probably fuck up either way, but it's worth a shot." Frank declared, making his way to the back of the room.

Gerard was still crying. He felt terrible, and it was only the first day of school. He heard footsteps approaching his desk, and ignored them, expecting them to be just someone to make fun of him.

Frank sat down next to him and pulled the chair close. He hesitantly wrapped his arms around the crying boy.

Gerard flinched, and looked up, seeing Frank's hair. He didn't object, as he didn't want to make Frank even more angry.

Frank pushed Gerard's hair out of his face and made him look at him. "Gee, I-I'm sorry, I really am. I'm really confused though, and although we just met today, you make my heart feel weird. But it's like...a good weird. When you kissed my cheek I was confused and I still am, but it felt nice."
