Chapter 1- Fighting with jocks

"Brooke wake up! It's time to wake up for school sweetie." my dad said, waking me up. I grabbed my pillow and stuffed it on my face. "give me 5 more hours" I said mumbling. My dad laughed and pulled my blanket off me and threw it on the floor. He knows that I hate it when he does that. "Daddddd!" I screamed, grabbing my blanket off the floor and wrapping myself into it. "Brooke wake up now!" He said pushing me off the bed laughing. "Okay!" I said laughing also.

I pushed my dad out of my room so I could get changed and walked over to the closet. I grabbed my uniform shirt and skirt and put them on. I slipped on my socks and boat shoes and grabbed my schoolbag. I ran down stairs grabbing a bag of grapes. "See you later dad!" I said while running out the door, closing it behind me.

I walked to school, everyday. My best friend Calum lived close to me and we always walk to school together. I texted him saying "I left the house. Hopefully you will catch up to me slowpoke :p". I started munching on my grapes, and a few minutes later, my iPhone ringed. I unlocked it and got a text from Calum saying "I see you :p your the slowpoke. You can barely run from here to that trash can in front of you (;" I looked up and ran right into the trash can, falling on my butt. I heard Calum laughing and looked behind me. Sure enough, Calum was standing there with his iPhone in his hand. He extended his hand in front of me, and I took it, pulling myself up. "Gosh Calum your such a stalker." I said smiling at him, my dimples showing. He poked my dimples while laughing.

We walked over to the school and I put my phone in my bag. Technically we aren't allowed to have our phones on school property, but I have it just in case of an emergency...plus I need to text Calum to see where he is in the morning.

I walked into the school and headed to first period. Ashton was in that class. I felt my phone vibrate in my bag and grabbed my phone. I unlocked it and saw that I got a text from Ashton. "Band practice today?" He said. I looked up at him and saw that he was looking at me and I nodded my head. He smiled and turned back to the board. I texted Calum, Michael, and Luke telling them that band practice was today. We were all in a band together. Me and Calum had started it when we were younger, and we all have been best friends since. Michael and I play guitar, Calum plays bass, Luke sings, and Ashton plays drums. We actually sound quite good.

The bell rang, and I grabbed my bag and headed out the door just like everyone else. I went through half of the school day, and headed to lunch. I went on the lunch line and waited to be served. "Can I cut you?" Luke asked smiling at me. "You can Chinese cut me" I answered back, winking at him. (A/n if you didn't know what Chinese cutting means, it means that instead of cutting someone you cut the person behind them so you are behind the person that you asked to cut lol).

Luke stepped behind me and said "So band practice today huh? We defiantly need to practice for the big tour." "Yeah defiantly. I'm massively excited!" I said. Me and my band mates are pretty much famous now. We are going on tour with one direction next week. We have many followers on Instagram already. Prom is next week on Friday, and then after prom we board our tour bus and start the tour. Me and Luke got our lunch, and joined everyone else at our table. We sat down and started munching on our pizza.

"This pizza is disgusting!" I said putting my pizza down. "That's why we bring lunch on Fridays." Michael pointed out. Every Friday is pizza day. It's gross. "I forgot my lunch because my dad woke me up late" I said rolling my eyes. I walked over to the trash can and dumped my tray. As I turned around to head back to the table, I bumped into the school jock, Tanner.

"Hey bitch! Watch where the fuck your going!" He said pushing me into the wall. I hit my head on the wall, and fell to the ground. "What the hell is your problem?" I asked getting up from my place on the ground. I punched him in the face and watched as the blood trickled from his nose. As I was watching, he pushed me back "you wanna fight bitch?" He asked. "Sure thing asshole." I said, kicking him in the balls. He fell on the ground crying out in pain. He got up and punched me, and we started punching each other. "Hey! Knock it off!" Mrs.B said pulling Tanner away from me. I continued punching him and Calum ran over pulling me back from Tanner. "Brooklyn, report to the principles office at once! And you too Tanner" Mrs.B said looking at the both of us. Calum gave me an ashamed look as I walked to the principles office.
